I love my new hippo. I was pleasantly surprised by the size. I havent decided yet what I actually want to put in it. I think it would be a fun housewarming gift!

Great piece. I named him Hank. He holds candy in my recording studio in his big mouth.

For me the large size works well - Using it the office, placed it in the middle of a serving plate so when I fill the mouth with candy, the overflow goes on the plate - Everyone likes it - Stands out

I wanted something for my counter that my husband could drop his wallet and keys in as he walked through the door and was so happy to find this! It will hold a good amount of things. I’ve also used it for candies. Everyone comments how cute it is. So fun! It was packaged well and would be a great gift!

This hippo candy dish is sooo cute!! Just as shown, really nice size, substantial weight and well packaged to arrive in good condition. So glad I made the purchase. If your looking for a funny candy dish, you won’t be disappointed.

This thing is awesome! I bought two for Christmas presents. One sibling didn't like it and gave it back, but that's because she's a normie without good taste. Said it clashed with her style. Whatever. She gave it back, so I gave it to a friend, who upon seeing it, immediately exclaimed, "YES!! I've been wanting a house hippo! You could put your keys in it, you could put tampons in it. The possibilities are ENDLESS!" Mm. Get you a friend that has good taste. The other sibling I bought one for seems to like it. He calls it his son and named it "Freddiger." Watching him cradle it in his arm and unironically pet it was a highlight of the holiday. He later put peanut-butter cups in it, so Fredigger has been put to work. It's a bit lighter than I thought it would be since the paintwork is so good that it looks metallic or stone. It's also pretty sturdy. The size is a bit small for a candy bowl unless you don't want all your house guests eating all your candy. There is a bigger size that I may end up getting some time. My thought I'd that it would work well as a fruitbowl. Or as a litmus test to see if new friends are keepers with good taste.

This is super cute. I have it in my entry filled with candy. It gets lots of attention as it’s cute and unique. It can hold many small things - candy, keys, change, etc. arrived quickly. Packaged well. Happy with my purchase.

Love this hippo dish. Have it on the bathroom shelf to hold bath bombs!

Purchased this for the front desk at work (to hold candy). Our customers comment on how cool it is quite frequently. It's light-weight, unique, and holds a decent amount. I usually have 3 different kinds of candy in this dish and can fit a large handful or two of each kind. If you need a better visualization of size, a grapefruit would sit inside nicely with a bit of wiggle room left around the rim.
