I don’t know if it fades. These are very heavy on you ears and the gold plating is cheap looking. I returned them.

These earrings have just one post for all 3 and fits just the single piercing in each ear

You can choose which piercing hole to use for single post. I use my lowest on lobe and to the front. It gives the appearance of 3 separate piercings the way it wraps around lower earlobe.

Love these earrings!! Perfect size, not to small not to big. I have very sensitive ears when it comes to jewelry and I can only wear pure gold or silver 9.25 for backings) as my ear hole piercing gets super angry if I wear crap and it’s painful. Great quality and hold up well in the ocean/lake water and shower. They are certainly tarnish resistant. Have had for a few months now and wear all the time.
