Buxton Heiress Double-Zip Organizer Wallet

I have loved the Buxton line since I was small. Always dependable, always sturdy and they haven't changed over the years to become 'cheaper' in any way. I just bought this Double Zip Organizer after my last one gave out after 16 years of use. The only thing that really starts to give on these are the little pockets for the credit cards. They stretch after a lot of use. Otherwise, the wallet still looked great. These double-zips have a side for credit cards that lays flat, the other side has 2 compartments, a zip coin purse and more credit card (or business card) slots. The outside has another zipped compartment and on the opposite side there's an opening with a mirror and place for your license you can pull out separate from the rest of the unit. Fits really well in my purse but big enough to carry on it's own without feeling like you're going to lose it. I also transfer this easily from gym bag to my purse. The leather is soft and I've had both purple and now red. They are both deep and rich colors. They get faded a bit with use but nothing that's really noticable. I have spot cleaned mine now and again with good results. These wallets really do last a good long time. Came in a presentation box that would be perfect for gift-giving. The price tag is hidden inside so if you do give if as a gift, be sure to remove first.

Very nice! I really like it. The length is a little shorter than my old Buxton, but I'm finding that I like that, too. Some folks are saying that you can't put bills in flat, but they do fit. You just put them in the pocket behind the credit cards.Holds a lot of stuff, but still fits in my purse! :)It's hard to find a double zip around that I like! I don't like all the flashy little metal things and stuff that some ladies' wallets have. I like this one's quality, simplicity, functionality and looks. This fits my preferences perfectly.

I bought this wallet many years ago and it finally wore out. Bought another one exactly the same except for the color. Best wallet ever made for myself. It's not cheap, but then again something made well and durable is worth the extra money. Cheap knockoffs will not pass the test of time and they are a waste of money.

I actually love the size of this wallet. I was replacing a similar sized wallet that ended up having a broken zipper after many years of use. I really loved my old wallet and was trying to find one exactly like it but it seems that type of wallet does not exist anymore. This was the closest wallet to what I'm used to. Since I know Buxton is a quality brand, I ordered this wallet. I only have three issues with this wallet. 1) It is very difficult to get credit cards out of the side that has 6 credit card spots. I found that I can get around that issue by just using 4 spots and with 2 spots in between empty. This issue occurs to a lesser degree with the 3 credit card spots that are on the side with the change purse. I don't use those cards very often so it is not a big concern for me. 2) I would have preferred the credit cards face sideways instead of up and down so that I could read them better (the way they are on the side where the change purse is). Since you really can't fit 6 credit cards anyhow, facing them sideways with 3 or 4 credit card spots would have been perfect for me (even if the wallet had to be wider to accomplish it). 3) the mirror is scratchy and unusable but I didn't by the wallet for the mirror. I like the idea of the ID being there as well as inside the wallet because the outside ID holder works well for a bus pass, school ID, etc., even though I don't need it for that. I love the feel of this wallet and the space it has for receipts. I love the zipper on the outside. I'll be keeping this wallet for when I don't need to have many credit cards, medical cards, membership cards, etc. on me. However, I ordered the Buxton Women's Heiress Ensemble Clutch wallet for more everyday use because it has the credit cards facing the way I prefer them and I think it will be a lot easier to take the credit cards out of the wallet.

I've owned and used this style of Buxton wallet for several years. Recently the zippers on my old wallet began to fail, so I decided it was time to buy a new one and was delighted to find that this style is still made. Being able to purchase it on Amazon without traipsing through a bunch of apartment stores was wonderful.The feature I love most about this wallet is the zippered compartments. I love being able to zip it up and know that my stuff can't fall out. I appreciate that it is made of genuine leather and, therefore, is durable. In my opinion, it's big enough to hold a lot of credit cards, cash, change, etc., but isn't too big. This style of wallet has worked well for me, and I'm glad to have a nice clean new one.

I have owned several Buxton "Wallet on a string" purses over the years, so when my latest one was wearing out I ordered a new one. The picture looked very similar to the ones I've had, so I ordered it, and it arrived promptly. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that the new wallet is seriously smaller than my old one. It does not meet my needs.

I am very disappointed with this wallet as the zipper came apart from the wallet therefore the wallet cannot be closed. The wallet is pricey and I expected better as it is a Buxton. My previous one lasted 10 years with no problem. Unfortunately, the retutn date was closed in October.

A very nice well made wallet. However, I returned the product as it was too small for my use. I had to fold up dollar bills and it wouldn't fit my check book. I did not look at the dimension which was my fault. I wish it was an inch bigger, longer. It had plenty of room for credit cards. Well made, nice color, and looks like it would last a very long time. I was sorry to return it and it shipped very fast.
