BUY the LAMY SAFARI INSEAD. Spring clip very weak and metal finish get worn quickly
The plastic one is WAY better. I bought this pen after losing my LAMY safari and i figured that this pen would be a nice upgrade as it is made of metal and has a bright color so i wouldnt lose it. When i started using it at first it was fine but when i started using the spring clip on some thicker materials (like 3 mm thick) the spring clip lost its tension and became loose so it stop clipping onto things. Also the metal finishing is quite terrible in this color as it started chipping very quickly and looks aged but my Safari looked way better after a longer usage. BUY THE LAMY SAFARI INSTEAD

The Lamy is incredibly well built!
I do not normally do product reviews but in this case, I was compelled to write something about the Lamy.Today I was washing my clothes as I normally do on the weekend, and at the end of the wash, during the spin cycle, I heard a knocking sound coming from the washing machine. I thought my 7-year-old machine was finally giving up the ghost and I was planning in my head whether to get it serviced or buy a new one.When it stopped spinning and when I was taking the clothes out, at the bottom was the Lamy! The first thought that ran through my mind was that my seven sets of white underwear must be ruined. In dread I took the pen out and opened the cap, away from the machine, and ink spilled out. Maybe 8 to 10 drops. However not a single drop had seeped out and all my clothes were intact!The Lamy is incredibly well built!
