Paint Brushes Set of 24 Pieces with Canvas Brush Case

Two brushes in this set are well worth having, and for the price, who cares if you get a lot of useless extras. Look, they're cheap nylon brushes. They will tear up cold press paper if you use them wrong. But so often I find myself reaching for one in particular, my hand going right past my high-end brushes from England and Germany, and grabbing the Large Rigger from this set. It holds a surprising amount of water, it drops it when I touch the paper, and it moves pigment around precisely in wet-into-wet. Yes, I'm using the "large rigger" like a pointed round. It is ALL SNAP, and I like that for my style of painting. It's fun for background washes, and sometimes is just the right thing for a very fine line. It's super comfortable, an extension of my hand, and every time I use it I think, "Why can't I buy just THIS ONE BRUSH?" I'm buying a second set just for that brush. The other brush I love is the 2" flat. It doesn't hold a ton of water (hello, nylon), but does a decent job wetting hot press. (It's too hard on cold press.) BUT ALSO, because these brushes are so snappy, it works great when dry for swiping eraser dust off paper. You shouldn't use your hand because you'll get skin oils on the paper, so I use this brush and zoop-zoop, all gone. The rest of the brushes, I don't care. I use the small round for applying masking fluid (though you have to do the dish-soap trick). I cut the fan brush to a more useful shape. A great thing about the cheap price is you don't care if you wreck them. I'm experimenting with brush modifications I wouldn't want to do on more expensive brushes, and feel zero guilt about it. Chop chop make texture! I gave them 5 stars because what you can do with them at this price is totally worth it. More expensive brushes would not suit the purpose.

My teen daughter loves these. She bought a second and third set. They were recommended by her art teacher. They aren’t what I like to use, but she loves them. They are sturdy and the carrying case too. A lot of variety. They are easy to clean. The bristles are soft. They are good for the price, maybe better than more expensive ones.

I bought these for my crafts. They work great. I love the wrap case. They were very reasonable.

Big variety, good case, paints efficiently, very portable and easy to tie, and it’s good for the price. The brushes don’t seem to be too thin or break easily.

I had bought these for my art studio in the fall of last year and I still use them now. They are quality and they hold up, although the white bristles get stained very easily. The material is okay, but cleaning stickier mediums can be a bit challenging. I love the different sizes but I wish there was an easier way to tie the closure. I would buy this if you’re an art student because they work well for me.

This is a fantastic brush set with so many different sizes of brushes! They’re easy to work with and clean up nicely. I love the neatly organized sturdy canvas holder. It’s a great product!
