We recently changed out or cookware to Hexclad pots and pans, allowing us to discard the old utensil sets. These stainless steel utensils are fantastic! The outstanding quality, ease of use, length of the handles, and thickness/sturdiness of the handles and heads has really transformed our cooking endeavors. The variety in this set gives us a broad range of functionality, giving us the perfect tool for various needs. We love these so much that we purchased two sets. One for our home as well as summer cottage. I just wish that I had invested in these sooner.

Purchased to replace black plastic tools, these are the nicest kitchen tools I have ever used. Only regret is not finding these years ago.

These stainless steel utensils are very good quality, sturdy. The handles stay cool unless you let it hang over a pan on a gas stove for a long time. They wash up very well too. Be aware that they are quite long. Also, I often wish the turners had more of a "bend" in the length of them instead of being so straight. Sometimes makes it harder to get under an item to turn. Also, the turners are slightly rounded at the edge so you don't get the full width of the turner edge to scrape the bottom of the pan. Good sized ladle. I like that it comes with both slotted and regular spoons. Overall, a great set along with a bamboo set to replace all my toxic plastic utensils. Seemed expensive at first glance, but if you figure how much per utensil, it's reasonable.

These are weighted and feel comfortable in my. Very sturdy, great workmanship.

I love these utensils. They are high quality. Don’t feel or look cheap and are super thick. They are long but easy to hold and use. Dishwasher safe.

I had to write a review for these after reading the other reviews. Most are glowing, but there was that one review in there saying they're flimsy and bend easily that almost made me reconsider purchasing these. This is actually the second set of Viking utensils I've ordered off amazon - the first was for a wedding present (and they loved them/didn't have that complaint), the second set (this one) was for me. I'd always thought silicone spatulas/bakeware etc. were inert and safe, but it turns out I was wrong/they're not all created the same! Some of them still leach toxic chemicals out, and even the "safe" ones you just never truly know. As much as I loved my silicone utensils, I decided it was time to convert to wood and steel (hence why I made the splurge for myself). This is a very expensive set, that'd be my one complaint and reason for taking one start off. BUT, that said they are very nicely made and clearly high quality. They *do* look expensive! Unlike my other cheapy serving spoons, the handles are nice and rounded/smooth, so unlike the cheap utensils they wont hurt my hands while stirring thicker foods like mashed potatoes. To the other reviewer's point about them being flimsy, I do wonder though if these spoons would hold up to something as thick and "heavy" as mashed potatoes? But they're *nowhere near* as flimsy as they made them out to be! I tried bending them with my hands just to see, and while I do think it'd be possible, it certainly wouldn't be easy! I don't see how you could bend them just by scraping the bottom of your pans - it'd take a lot of force to bend them! They have a really nice feel in the hand, nice and light, and they're actually much easier to clean that my wood or even silicone spatulas were! I used to use them to scrape out my vitamix, which inevitably caused little cuts in the silicone that liked to trap food. Unlike the wood they're dishwasher safe, which is a plus! Ultimately I really like these and think - if you're ok with the splurge - these are a nice worthwhile set that you'll have for the rest of your life!

I was very impressed with the quality of these Viking kitchen utensils. They’re heavy, sturdy, and feel built to last. They’re a great long-term investment for your kitchen. If you enjoy cooking, I highly recommend them!
