UDC Mower Belts GX20072 - Aramid Kevlar - Compatible with John Deere Deck Drive

This belt fit my John Deere Z445 perfectly and works correctly allowing me to again mow my yard.

May 2023. We have a John Deere lawn tractor and the John Deere belt it came with was fine and lasted 3 years, but in the last year we've had to replace the belt probably 3 times. So, naturally, we went and got a John Deere belt to replace it with, but they kept snapping. We thought it was because we let the grass get too high in some parts of our acreage and the mower struggled through there. We decided to just order one from Amazon. It came and my husband put it on, and now we see that the John Deere one's were too tight! At least this brand has some give, so hopefully there is no strain that causes snapping. If I remember I'll come back and update review in a few months.

UPDATE: Didn't last a year Sep 2024 to Jun 2025. Figured I would try this belt to replace my original. This belt was a perfect fit for my JD X304 with a 42" deck. Installation was not difficult, best to drop the deck, remove belt guides and don't forget to lubricate pulley bushings while everything is apart. So far, so good. I'll update with durability data as needed...
