My bath plug refused to click down into place so was expecting a hefty plumbers invoice to fix it but a quick search online, a YouTube video which helped me understand what had happened meant that all I had to do was unscrew the plug, remove the broken mechanism, order this and replace it.This was slightly bigger than the original but still worked perfectly. So easy to replace.Highly recommended and great value for money.

It fitted the plug, happy with purchase, check your sizes to the millimetre, to make sure. I measured the brass pusher on the one I was replacing.

I spent about two hours cleaning, greasing and twiddling about with the 20 year old pop-up mechanism on my sink, following online videos. All my experience of plumbing told me that this pop-up mechanism is incredibly simple and that it should be serviceable. But alas, no luck. Nevertheless, I was a bit reluctant to take the plunge and buy a replacement which might fall apart in 12 months, regardless of how cheap it is.Well, I bit the bullet and spend the piddly £4. The item looks fantastic quality, and I'd be willing to bet that it will last 10-15 years. But it's only been 24 hours, so fingers crossed...
