These are great lights and provide great coloured lighting. They are not stupidly bright and are about right for what I need. This is my second set. The previous ones lasted for about three years (out doors, through all of the UK weather). In the winter, the solar system is simply not enough to recharge the single AA battery to provide lighting all night. Instead, I generally rely on replacing the battery with one which is fully charged - rather than relying on solar. This needs to be done every week in the UK winter time (due to low sunlight and long nights). In the Summer they are fairly self charging (using solar) and will give enough power to last for most of the UK's summer night period.

When I had a problem with our lights, the Company helped very quickly and to our great satisfaction. Really deserve 5 stars. The lights are just the effect we wanted fastened over an archway, and we would definitely use the Company again

3 days in direct sunlight and not even a glimmer at night ,,,,looks good but otherwise rubbish,,,,,To be fair when I reported the problem I was offered a replacement or a refund immediately,,,,,can not fault that response,,,,refund on the way

These light are pretty, but they really are incredibly subtle. They aren't bright at all and don't really last in to the night.EDIT: From seeing this review the seller has issued a full refund, which i have to say would suggest that they do have faith in their product, so maybe I will try again.
