They are light, comfortable to hold, and write clearly from the first try. For me, the 1.0 point is perfect as I prefer a more solid line when writing so I haven’t tried the other sizes. I use these pens to write on almost any surface including washi tape in my journal. They also write really well on shiny surfaces like the back of a greeting card. The only thing I have found them to be hit or miss on is PET tape and transparent plastic tape from my label maker. However, I don’t really expect them to write on that kind of tape, so it doesn’t bother me. I was a long-time Bic ballpoint pen user but was given one of these at work, and I fully converted almost immediately. Also I find the price on Amazon, especially on Subscribe and Save, to be the best I’ve found. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy using a ballpoint pen for your day to day writing!

If you’re looking for cheap pens these are good. They write smoothly and I like the feel. Two big problems I saw with them (but again, you kind of get what you pay for): They run out of ink pretty fast. I’ve been a little disappointed with how fast I run through the ink. I write a bit, but not an abnormal amount. Really just in my journal every day, and usually only a few pages at most (small 5x7-ish sized notebook). But luckily the package is large, so I’m not too worried about that. Just may.l not be the most cost-effective option if you’re buying for an office or other environment where you will be writing a lot. The other thing I haven’t loved is the speed that the ink leaves the pen. If I’m just writing it seems to work fairly well, with only a few letters here and there coming out slightly faded. But if you try to draw a line (I usually put a line between journal entries so I can maximize page usage… because I use my journals a lot), it fades halfway across my page (again, it’s only like 4-5” across…). So not super ideal for anything more than regular text writing or something along those lines. Any continuous lines tend to run out of ink and you have the lift the pen and start again. Maybe a weird complaint, but I know people who use these types of pens for art and other things like that - so I would not recommend these for that. Overall, even with these complaints, I feel like for the price, these are pretty good pens. I’ve liked them and it was nice to get so many in a package.
