Review June 30, 2026:Product is Pretty Amazing!Okay, let me start by saying I should have written this review in December of 2024 when I purchased the product but I digress. I'm a procrastinator. What can I say. At the time of purchase I needed it to add drops onto painted wooden beads where I had painted on eyeballs to use on macrame Santas and they turned out beautiful giving Santa the prettiest, shiniest, crystal clear blue eyes. I have not used it since until today when I decided to decoupage tatting shuttles and I remembered I had this kit on hand. I have started working with it again and so far it is working beautifully. Even after 18 months, the product is still good and hasn't gone bad.The very first time I ever did any resin art was a complete DISASTER! It was a product I had picked up at a nearby craft store and it was a resin that had to sit and cure 24 hours. It was not a UV resin and partially due to my inexperience and poor resin product, my clover keychains turned out horrible. I decided then to never even try it again until I purchased this product. I don't think I will ever work with any other kind of resin besides UV resin. I'm too impatient for that.This resin is very simple to use. It comes with the most important things you need (resin and UV Lamp). It doesn't come with molds but I don't need any molds for what I'm doing. I am using it to create a clear coat finish on painted and decoupaged objects. At the time I purchased this it was $2 cheaper than now but I would still buy it again if I needed it. I also noticed that this company has advanced resin kits that include everything you would need including molds, jewelry findings, inks, glitter, etc., so I would highly recommend getting that kit you're looking for a complete advanced starter setup kit with accessories because this resin is really great. I don't think one would be dissatisfied purchasing the advanced kit if you need all the accessories because and it only costs a few dollars more. OR... if like me, you don't need all the accessories, this starter kit with UV light only is perfect .Thanks for a good product and the inspiration to try resin art again!PS - by the way, for those interested, this listing has several really great videos demonstrating how people use the UV resin to make beautiful things. Worked well for my project

We are big crafters and my girls and I have always had a lot of different supplies. I had a UV glue kit with a few bottles of different viscosity and a pen light. Came in handy a lot.Then one of the girls came over with this kit. I wanted it but didn't justify the purchase until prime day for like $3 off.A few days ago it occured to me that I could use this on my glasses. I've used my other uv glue to fix cheap readers when the frames crack and the lense falls out. Superglue always started to set up before the lense was right where it needed to be. But this time it was for my prescription glasses.Our puppy that I got talked into (that I now love like crazy but don't tell anyone) chewed the earpieces and nosepieces. This resin is a lot thicker. I dipped them in and cured it and although there are some small dents and lumps, which I can still fix, theyre not ripping my hair out or scratching my ears. I have another round to fix the nose pieces but I can wear them comfortably.I still am not sure what craft I will come up with but I am sure this will be great for fixing all kinds of stuff.

I recently bought a tiny bottle of UV resin from a local craft store and paid about $10 for only 25ml of resin. There were two options at the local store, 25ml for $10, or a larger bottle (perhaps 75ml) for $20. When I saw this listing I first thought there was a mistake, with 300g (approximately 300 ml) of resin PLUS a UV light, for under $20 (purchased on Prime Day).The resin comes in three large containers, 100g each, along with screw-on dispenser nozzle caps. The UV light is bright, not quite "purple" output (more like pink) but apparently the UV light is tuned to the wavelength needed for the activator in the resin. I applied resin to an aluminum tag I had engraved in an earlier experiment, allowed it to spread to the edges sufficiently and then placed it under the light for right around one minute. I tested the hardness after a minute using a wooden stick and was surprised it was totally cured.I noticed in past reviews there were some complaints about the sturdiness of the USB sockets on the UV light, so I took some steps to minimize wear on the socket. The light includes a USB-c power cord, but it has both a usb-c and micro-usb socket on the back. I have some GenX (gen-10) magnetic cables and tips, so I installed a micro-usb tip on the light and now there is zero effort to connecting the cable to the light when needed.

I read a lot of reviews saying their heater burnt out first use. I didn’t have that problem. This is the first time I’ve added uv resin and used a uv light in my life. In my opinion, the others could have burnt out their heaters from what they put under it to heat (but not completely sure). The heater is small and it only gives you an inch and a half height for putting things under it. I only used mine to make a resin dome for flat charms. When I initially placed a charm, there was some steam/smoke. I believe it’s the heat contacting to the resin for the first time that causes this. After two seconds the smoke goes away and it continues to cure. I checked my lamp afterwards, and there was no melting like others have reviewed. My suggestion is not to place anything under the heater that’s tall or big. It needs space between the heat light an object in order to cure without burning out. If you do place large objects monitor it closely, because I can see this being a problem. Best bet is to buy a larger uv lamp for larger items. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I normally don’t review items until I’ve had time to use them. In this case, all I needed was to see how incredibly tiny the box for the kit is to know this was gonna be bad.The uv light is an absolute joke. It couldn’t be more poorly designed or made. Most of my molds do not fit in this thing, and it’s basically made from cardboard. You will definitely need to buy a different light to make this kit actually complete.I really hope that no one actually buys this kit for the $40 advertised without sale price. Even $20 is too much for what you get in here.Highly recommend spending an extra $5-$7 and get a better kit.After use update- I’ve gotten through one of the bottles of resin at this point, and the light preformed as poorly as I expected. There were times it would take 10+ minutes to get a minor clay glaze fully cured. The day after I started using this, I had a different UV light out for delivery. The new light made a massive difference in curing. Highly recommend getting a different light for around $15-$18. Completely worth it.I’m also really surprised with the quality of the resin. It’s wonderful! Low Oder, low bubble, and crystal clear. I’ve already ordered more.With this set, it looks like you’re paying for the resin more than the accessories. It’s enough to get you to decide if it’s something you want to deal with or not.

This stuff is awesome. Really user friendly and has a fast cure time. Make sure you have a brush you can dedicate to be used only for this. I use rubbing alcohol to clean the mixture off the brush before it dries and the brush bounces back well. 10/10 would purchase again!

Dieses Set hatte ich bestellt um kleine Dinge zu kleben, welche nicht zu sehr beansprucht werden, welche aber mit normalem Sekundenkleber ohne Füllgranulat schwierig zu verbinden sind.Der Kleber riecht ein wenig nach Epoxidharz, aber nicht so stark und aufdringlich, aber auch nicht allzu angenehm 😌 , es lässt sich damit aber umgehen.Ich verwende zur Härtung nicht die beigefügte Lampe, obwohl es damit auch sehr gut funktioniert. Ich verwende eine UV Taschenlampe, damit komme ich besser an die zu klebenden Stellen.In der Regel klebe ich damit Bauteile welche aus dem Resin Druck kommen.Der transparente Klebstoff kann auch mit dem UV Druck Resin gemischt werden um die entsprechende Farbe zu erzielen.Ich bevorzuge es aber transparent zu kleben und danach mit dem entsprechenden farblichen Resin machzuarbeiten.Vonir gibt es eine Empfehlung

J'ai plus de 2 kilos de cette résine d'acheté jusqu'a maintenant et elle est juste fantastique. Elle catalyse a la vitesse de l'éclair c'est un vrai charme de l'utiliser pour toutes mes pièces. La grosseur de ces bouteilles est parfaite pour une manipulation facile. Le secret, c'est d'utiliser la bonne lampe uv.
