This is quite an amazing little DVD player for the price. The screen size is great, its lightweight and easy to use. It comes with both a car charger and regular electrical outlet charger. It also comes with adapter plugs to plug into a TV (which we used in a hotel, and it worked great). If there was only one drawback, I would say the sound doesn't go loud enough. I set it all the way to 20 (the highest option) and still had a hard time hearing in the car on a long trip. However, it has a headphone jack, so I tried the ones that came with my cell phone and it worked great! I also ordered the case logic suggested with the purchased together option and it carries everything, the dvd player fit perfectly and can even hold about 4-5 dvd's in their cases.

We have only had this a few days but so far it has been great! Love the swivel screen, easy to use and love the remote so i can help the kids from the front seat. It has already been dropped several times... and have had no issues with it. Has not skipped or had any issues. Picture quality is great as well as sound - have zero complaints there. We have 2 kids (ages 3 and 5) and purchased a connector cord for their headphones. We placed the DVD player in the middle of them and haven't had any issues with them not being able to see the picture well from either side. So far it's definitely been 5 stars and hope it continues!

Not bad for size, putting in the disc is easy enough but the remote is torture - too many buttons that are difficult for a non techi like me to get to work. BUT I managed to get a good picture, the sound works very well and for the price it is much more economical than investing in a tablet just to play my favorite DVDs when I am traveling.

The DVD player feels a bit lightweight, but it performs very well. The image on the screen is very clear, as is the sound, particularly when headphones are used. A remote is included, which I don't "get" since this very much a personal device which likely sits in your lap. The controls are basic and functional. I bought this as a gift for my mother-on-law in the hospital.... My wife started using it and I wasn't sure it would ever make it to my mother-in-law. With our laptops and so forth, we forget the simplicity of a dedicated DVD player. And this one works very well. I will add I got a great deal on Prime Day, so maybe it would not be as attractive at full price. But bang for the buck is very high with this item. Highly recommend!

We purchased this to take with us on our long Thanksgiving trip to Santa Rosa. It did the job and kept our kids entertained all the way there as well as at night when it was time to settle down as our AirBnB did not have TV. Its super lightweight and the battery life lasts long enough for two movies before needing to be plugged in or charged. I love the swivel screen capability and the remote helped tremendously in the car.

Update: We used this for about 6 months pretty happily. About two months ago, the remote started failing, and then completely stopped working. I have bought several replacement batteries. The remote just no longer works. It was always temperamental, but utterly failed. I would have bought a new DVD player for this price, but since the remote didn't power the unit on or off in the first place, I'll just seek a totally different one now. Original review: We wanted something for our rear-facing baby when he gets worked up on long trips. I also bought the headrest strap Amazon lists as recommended. When I unpacked this, it seemed a little clunky, but it works pretty well. The remote control seems very modern and is basically easy to use. I can easily adjust the volume, pause, etc., from the driver's seat. The price and quality overall are pros. As cons, the DVD remote seems to not be able to power the DVD player on and off, so I have to do that manually from the back of the vehicle every time. Also, every time the DVD player turns on, it starts at the same pretty loud volume, instead of at the last setting. This is not usually a problem, but if you are, say, at a rest stop so get out, and get back in with one kid sleeping and one awake and want to turn the DVD player on very quietly for the awake kid to watch, it's going to blare at first anyways. This is definitely a little frustrating!

The player is good enough for my purposes. I use it to play exercise DVDs at a gym. I can't use the internal jack as i'm exercising so the sound is barely audible in a noisy gym. That's ok.

This portable DVD player was everything I hoped it would be: lightweight and easy to transport in carry-on luggage, very easy to use, great color & picture quality and the sound is very good and clear, even on a low setting and good battery life. A great purchase and a very good price! I would definitely purchase items from SYNAGY again.
