Great card bios is exceptional cooling good actually a good overclocker so good luck with the silicon lotto
Took a gamble PNY had been around for years but I prefer to stick to zotac, evga, or galax (formerly known as galaxy). However this card is the only larger (dual or tri fan) cooled 1060 6 gb that sells for MSRP so I took a gamble to get the good value as all the Pascal cards ( gtx 1000 series) clock right about the same unless there was binning involved. I got pretty lucky and got a chip that does 2140 mhz stable core overclock and +500 memory overclocks. However your results may vary as this is a game of silicon lotto. The card comes in decent packaging and comes with a few accesories none of which are anything special just normal stuff they toss in with a graphics card like driver discs and stuff. The cooler is surprisingly fantastic! (no pun intended) temps are very very good at load and even overclocked the card stays cool and very quiet for what it is. The cooler is straight overkill which is nice cause the card stays pretty darn quiet and as far as the bios goes the power limit is insane on their bios the card is by no means cooling or power limited on overclocks. The cooling is good enough too that the card will stay at full boost clocks. Running Unigine valley to stress the gpu managed to run the benchmark at full boost and stayed over 2120 mhz on the core for me so very much stayed at its boost clock and I kept a eye on temp and power limits with msi afterburner and neither one was a limitation infact there was a good 8% left over on the power limit which really suprised me the bios is really good on this card! Overall the cards really good the only downside is the fan bracket is the cheaper ABS plastic (the stuff on cheap pc fans) so it feels a tad cheap to the touch but looks fine and functions 100% fine...if this card was 270+ like most of the 1060s then i would consider this a definite con however they had to cut costs somwhere and im glad they decided to cut it on not having a backplate and using a cheaper but more then usable plastic fan bracket rather then sacrificing the VRM quality or the cooling. So considering the 250 buck price this is really not a con.Pros- cooling is great! And the bios is awsome allowing more then enough power limit, one of the few cards at msrp!!!Eh ---not con or pro-- fan bracket for the cooler is a touch on the cheaper abs plastic side and could be nicer but they had to cut cost somewhere to reach msrp so im haopy they did it they way they didCons- none

Outstanding Performance On My Dell XPS 8900
Last summer I purchased a fairly loaded up Dell XPS 8900. It has a 6th generation I7 processor, 32 gb of RAM,a 512 SSD along with a 2tb HD. It also came with a 2gb Graphics Card. I was very happy with this system until I tried to play some newer graphic intense games on this thing. It was useless. 18fpm max, at lowest settings. Not worth even trying. I am not much of a gamer, but I could not live with this. Limited to Dell's unimpressive 460 watt power supply, and not wanting to have to buy a stronger power supply unit as well, I came across this card.I was not sure this would fit in my Dell, as this PNY card is about 3x longer than the piece of crap GPU Dell provided. After being reassured by Dell this GPU will work in my system, I took the plunge. My computer is now a monster by comparison.I run Windows 10, and using the PC Benchmark App my results are the following:Before Installing This Card: GPU Test Speed Ops- 4396.61After Installing This Card: GPU Test Speed Ops- 60,518.40What a difference. Needless to say I can now get well over 60fpm on the newer games out there in high detail. It's all I need.Installation was not as easy as I hoped in my Dell XPS. Of course your installation for your particular computer might be a breeze. Here I had to move wires out of the way in a tight space and once the card was properly seated the inputs did not line up, and this has no back plate. I had to twist down the metal outside back plate bracket of the computer before I could plug in my HDMI cable. I did not see any other options, but I am not a computer expert. Once installed, and latest drivers were downloaded, the improvement was beyond what I expected. Well worth the investment.I saw a lot of reviews stating that no installation disc, instructions, or any wires come with this thing. Don't be fooled, they are included, but you have to lift the cardboard at the bottom of the box it comes in. Everything is there. But, because this stuff is so light, and kind of hidden, I can see why some people just threw the box away assuming nothing else is in there. Some may say the plastic casing of this GPU has a cheap feel to it. But that kept the cost down, while still delivering outstanding performance. The most amazing thing about this GPU is how little power it draws compared to performance. Unless you are a hard core gamer, this will more than suffice. Now I have a computer I am 100% satisfied with. Thank you PNY for offering this excellent card for a reasonable price.

PNY is my go-to brand.
First impressions review:I purchased this card to replace my PNY GTX 760 for a few reasons. First was to improve Steam Link performance. I recently purchased a steam link and it is an awesome little device, but the extra load on the old GPU caused a hit to frame rates when streaming.Frame rates in general for my old card were usually fine except occasionally in heat of battle when it counted most. Games like DOOM were particularly bad. Even old Borderlands 2 struggled with the settings turned up. DotA 2, similar story...On new games I've had to be careful with the graphic settings to avoid dropping below 30 fps.... You get the idea. The card came with a driver disc and a molex-6 pin power adapter. Nothing fancy.Installation took 5 minutes, as one would expect. No fit issues with the NZXT phantom full ATX case.Booted up no problem, updated drivers, everything up and running in under 30 minutes. Note: I still have the 760 installed so that helped get things going more quickly.I quite like the cooler design as the fans are fairly large and operate quietly compared to my GTX 760 blower cooler (albeit less effective heat evacuation, but my case has no problem with air flow).Performance upgrade was as expected. Easily doubled frame rates and able to crank everything to max settings. This was expected after seeing the benchmark differences between my old card and the 1060.I've been buying PNY cards for a while now, and they continue to work flawlessly for me.Update: card still working great. Wanted to add that this thing rocks at driving the Oculus rift. I can't believe the performance per dollar spent on this chipset, it definitely gets the job done. Even with duplicated display from oculus to the main screen and driving a second monitor, it's still all Gucci.

Best card for under $250.00, ready for VR gaming!
I have been using this 1060 6GB PNY card since Oct 2016. The card has had some drivers issues but that was to be expected for a brand new graphics card. I am using it in a PCIe- EGPU adapter on an Steam Machine (ALPHA). I have seen true 1080 game play with 60+ FPS with Ultra settings for a number of games. I do notice that games with DX12 sometimes do run a bit rough until a restart. This could be a number of things causing it, but again simple fix for the issue. I've ran several Benchmarks against it to see if true 2k or VR ready gaming could be achieved and every one of them says it's 2k VR ready.I tried to play a couple games on ultra with my friends tower in 4K and the card was not able to constantly pump out great frames rates. This was on a custom build with a Skylake i7 desktop class CPU and a 800Watt Gold rated power supply, so I know it was not either of those. With that said this card is close to the AMD RX480 8GB performance (sometimes higher some games lower). With the play-ability, affordability and constant update from NVIDIA for drivers this card shall take me well into the next 2-5 years of gaming. Again my setup is a bit different so I do loose a little bit of power using it as an E-GPU. The only downside to this card is no backing on the card to help heat and keep dust off it.I highly recommend this card!Right now NVIDIA is doing a sale you buy this or the 1050 card and get a free game!

Works flawlessly, no issues, had it shipped to Australia. Highly recommended.
Wanted to wait a few months before posting this just in case something went wrong, instead of being super excited and posting a review right away when I got it and tested only 1 game on it.This is my first GPU upgrade, upgraded from a 650Ti, and boy, what a jump in performance this was. Got this shipped all the way to Australia as well as it was cheaper than just buying locally, took a couple of weeks of course, and was put in a nice and safe box and the GPU was 100% nice and clean. So yeah, for any of you Aussies looking to buy this card through amazon, my experience personally had no problems at all, only downside of course is the wait.Over the past couple of months, I tested a couple of games, and the GPU runs basically flawlessly. It ran games like Batman Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, Alien: Isolation, Overwatch, Crysis 3, Shadow of Mordor, Tomb Raider, Rainbow 6 Seigeand Heavily modded Fallout: New Vegas with ENBs at max settings 60+ FPS (although with Witcher 3 with hairworks on the frame rate drops to 50-55 of course because that's super intensive). Highest the temps got was about 72 degrees C on Witcher 3, which is fine since GPUs are built to run at those temps anyway; using speccy, I tend to average around 60-65 degrees when gaming anyway, with it hovering around 30 degrees when not gaming.Really loving this card, had been missing out on the more graphically intensive games for the last couple of years since my 650Ti could only manage low settings, but boy I can't wait to clear out my backlog and also play the newer games at max settings at 60fps.Other notes:I was a little bit of an idiot and didn't realize that there wasn't a VGA port on the GPU for my second monitor, so I had to buy a DP to VGA adapter for it to work. Also, note that there's only 1 HDMI slot and about 4 DP slots, they look similar so yeah, be wary of that and don't be like me and accidentally buy a VGA to HDMI adapter for my secondary monitor without realizing that there's only one HDMI slot which my main monitor was plugged into... silly me.I also have a couple of photos that I took from some of the games I listed above that I put in this review, these games are so damn pretty, and it's really enjoyable being able to play them looking like this.

Works. Cool and Quiet.
I like this graphics card the dual fan approach keeps it cool. Plenty of video memory. I bought the Pny 1060 for its superior price whilst maintaining a dual fan heatsink. It does hang a little bit from its own weight a little worrying this influences me to next time get a smaller card even if that means having a single fan. A big Pro is that the fans remain pretty quiet even under load.cons- This Gpu is on the heavy side it hangs a little bit the end facing towards the front of the chassis away from the PCIE slot. Hopefully this isnt the cause of issues down the road.-No Anti static Bag included with packaging. Was just the card placed in foam. No Driver Disc.

Dead on Arrival
After attempting to install the graphics card that came in, I was met with a black screen with no display. Checked my drivers, BIOs, and several other settings, and the card does not function at all. My card prior was the exact same model, and ran fine for over a year.

poor fans
It's been 40 days and one of the fans is already starting to fail. I ordered replacement fans and found out it wasn't actually the fan failing, it was the PNY sticker on the fan - it had been sucked up into the heatsink and was causing an occasional buzzing sound

Gran tarjeta

Five Stars
Fricking awesome. Way to go Global Store. No warranty but as it turns out most of the graphics cards sold in India don't have warranty support at all. Lol. Only MSI and Gigabyte have one single service center each. This is the cheapest GeForce GTX 1060 6GB you can find. That's 6GB. No, this is not overpriced. I got it for 21,353/-Ordering a 6GB 1060 overseas from Amazon/NewEgg even during Black Friday 2016 would have cost me more than this!

Great upgrade, great product
A Major improvement in Gaming, sound and power consumption. I went from a gtx780ti which was a great card, but this is a major improvement, and it runs so quiet and cool.
