This is an amazing piece of kit but, there are comprises. Firstly, the hoover has exceptional suction. You need to insert the bag. We have medium pile carperts, you have to work at it to get the results but, with effort and patience, you will achieve fantastic results. This is because it gets deep into the carpet and so you do need to cover the area a couple of times to hoover up everything it pulls up. Switching to the shampooer. Remove the dust bag. Add water to the tank with shampoo, I also added some oxy cleaner, same stuff I put in the washer. Make sure all the water pipe connectors are attached. Switch on with the power button and then press the pump button. This will release the water onto the carpet. Work in sections. Switch off the pump button and you are now hoovering up the water into the dirty water tank. The machine itself is bulky, I also found it noisy, but it is light and easy to move around. The results are amazing for both hoovering and cleaning. The comprises are, going back to a bag for the dust. I have had a bagless for years but, I paid 4x the price for the same result. Also, its not a quick vacuum cleaner because its pulling so much out of the carpet. It's very satisfying though. When cleaning, it's hard work. That said, it's worth the effort. Carpet is now back to looking as it did when it was first fitted. Overall, fantastic machine, great price, superb results but be prepared to work with it and put some effort in. Can't comment on durability as only just started using it but, I am impressed with the results this machine produces at such a reasonable price for a dual purpose. It also has a blower function. I'm assuming this is for drying the carpet as it does say not to use outdoors. Not used this yet. I would highly recommend.

Poor suction and the lid comes off and vacuum goes to zero due improper seal due to top lid

The suction is decent during dry vacuum put those nice lines in the carpet. Just done my landing and stairs and it made my carpet nice a fluffy again. However is not the best on stairs the head is to big and it hard to get the edges of the stair. The shampoo ain't the best, I put some stain remover in the mixture and it's much better. My carpet are semi dry and not soaking wet which is a relief. I found holding the hand awkward to grip but I do have carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands so that's probably why. Overall it a good hoover and carpet cleaner for the price.

Worth the money. I have 2 cats and I was looking for something 2in 1 ( hoover and wash ) but I came across this one which is multifunctional. Has strong suction, easy to use if you want to wash Ur carpets/rugs, easy to store and has wheels which makes it easier to move around.

I wasn’t sure at first if I should buy this Vitronics Wet & Dry Hoover because I had seen a few reviews saying it wasn’t worth the money. Still, I decided to give it a try, and I’m honestly so glad I did. When it arrived, I was really impressed straight away, the suction power is incredibly strong, it picks up dust brilliantly, and it cleans carpets very well too. After a few uses, I did experience a small issue with the hose not locking into place properly. However, the customer service was outstanding. They didn’t ask any unnecessary questions, dealt with the problem immediately, and simply asked me to send the machine back. In less than 10 days, they replaced it with a brand-new unit. The level of customer service was truly high standard, and I’m extremely pleased with both the company and the product. The new Hoover works perfectly, and it’s genuinely a very good machine. I want to praise Vytronix for the excellent service I received and for standing behind their product. Highly recommended.

I got this item to shampoo my carpets and I can say it is good to surface clean but it is not so good on deep cleaning and stains. I wouldn’t say it was bad but I have had two vax machines which were better at deep cleaning however both have broken so thought I would give this a try. Some reviews said the item is loud but I did not notice this. Cleaning the item was easy to do and the instructions were clear and simple. The only thing I would say is a negative for me is that I have a small flat and it takes up a lot of room to store it as the hose is very long and not so easy to pull apart to store so it’s awkward Overall it’s ok

This washing vacuum cleaner is amazing. It's a 10+ for vacuuming, cleaning carpets, and upholstery.
