How thick is the paper?

Our Flower Press Paper is a much thicker than printing paper which helps to absorb the moisture better. The paper is suitable for all kinds of flowers, foliage and ferns.

How often do I need to change the paper?

Check your flowers after 4-5 days. If the paper is moist it’s time to change it. This will reduce the risk of moulding of your blooms inside the press.

Absolutely! The paper is reusable. After drying your fresh flowers, just let it air-dry to remove any moisture.

Is the paper acid-free?

This blotting paper is acid-free and will not leave stains on your flowers. It is also far more absorbent than conventional printing sheets or parchment paper.

Can I use it with other flower pressing kits?

You may have different presses at home, so we've made blotting paper to fit any flower press. Cut this paper to the size of your flower press and watch as your favorite petals dry better than before.

Great for Fountain Pen Ink

I can't speak for use in flower pressing, I took a chance and got this as blotter paper for fountain pen writing. It works perfectly for this purpose, absorbent and same texture as the expensive blotter papers you get from pen companies. Plus I have been able to cut it to size to fit various notebooks from Passport up to B5.

Super absorbent!

Great for flower pressing. Got it on sale so it was worth it for the price. Much more absorbent than regular paper. Definitely worth trying if you love pressing flowers!

It is OK.

I have many flowers in my garden and decided press them. I have used tissue paper, but I tried this because they are reusable. They absorb moisture well, but the stems and leaves make indentations on the paper. When I reused the paper, the indentations affected the next press. Price is acceptable.
