Great quality but very fiddly to wire up. Got it all assembled and back in the cable, started to put it together and found the grommet had fallen off at some point so had to start over. Worked first time it was connected to car unlike the one that came with the trailer into an adapter

Good quality 13 pin plug which I used on a caravan. However, at this price a wiring diagram showing wire colour codes/pin number associations as well as fitting instructions should be provided. Overall I would buy again.

Easy to fit and works just fine.

I paid for a premium product but not sure I got one. I don’t see.how it can claim to be waterproof when there isn’t even a rubber O ring on the joining main two parts even though there is a slot for one. I also like the copper pins but would have liked brass screws to match as the steel screws will likely encourage differential corrosion.

The cross head terminal screws was the main reason for choosing this 13 pin caravan plug. The cross head terminal screws help to ensure a fix for the wires. I used crimps on the wire tips to further enhance the wire fixing and to stop the any possibility of short circuiting of wires. I found it recessary to cut the outer cable rubber seal to get it onto the outer cable sheet. The plug worked well when finished so would definitely recommend.

Mein Anhänger hatte noch einen alten 7-poligen Stecker, der nicht mit meinem Auto kompatibel war. Daher habe ich auf diesen 13-poligen Stecker umgerüstet. Die Qualität wirkt solide und ist für meine Zwecke absolut ausreichend. Die Montage ist kein Problem, wenn man weiß, wie Kabel in einer Lüsterklemme verschraubt werden. Wichtig ist lediglich, beim Zusammensetzen die Reihenfolge der Teile einzuhalten und die richtige Belegung der Kabel zu kennen. Hat man das im Blick, geht der Einbau schnell und unkompliziert. Der Adapter lässt sich problemlos in die Kupplung einführen und funktioniert einwandfrei. Einziger Nachteil: Man muss sich im Vorfeld mit der Kabelbelegung beschäftigen. Danach aber macht der Stecker genau das, was er soll. Fazit: Empfehlenswert für alle, die ihren Anhänger von 7-polig auf 13-polig umrüsten möchten und etwas Grundwissen beim Verkabeln mitbringen.

Ich habe meinen Hänger vom kleineren (9pol?) Stecker auf diesen großen Stecker umgerüstet, weil ich ein neues Auto habe und nicht immer mit Adaptern arbeiten wollte. Das ist auf Dauer lästig. Stecker schaut soweit gut aus, kam auch mit einer Beschreibung, welches Kabel mit welcher Farbe wohin angeschlossen werden muss. Hat bei mir super gepasst. Jetzt schon mehrere Monate im Einsatz und funktioniert nach wie vor problemlos.
