Yellow Crime Scene Tape 1000 Ft (Pack of 1)

I'm not in law enforcement. So why buy crime scene tape? Well, it all started with a colleague who is getting ready to retire. After 30+ years with the company, his office had become very much like what you'd picture the quintessential professor's office to be like. Let's just say he had quite the collection of papers, journals, awards and just about everything else you can imagine. He had already spent several weeks sorting and tossing (and handing off to others the really important stuff). His office was actually beginning to look at little bare. This was an opportunity I just could not let pass. I ordered the tape and early one morning, before he showed up, we turned his office into a crime scene. And then we waited. When he saw his office, his face took on a puzzled, perhaps even slightly worried look. After giving him time to absorb the idea that somehow his office had overnight become a crime scene, we told him what had happened. Well, we told him OUR version of what had happened. Building security had been by on a routine patrol during the night. They recognized that there were a LOT of papers missing from his office. After consulting with their superiors and the local police, they reached the only reasonable conclusion anyone could have reached. Someone had come in and made off with valuable company documents! The security folks knew they were going to have to talk with him to identify what secrets might have been stolen. They put up the crime scene tape to keep others out of his office until they could talk with him and enlist his help in their investigation. The hardest part of any practical joke is keeping a straight face. Sadly, we didn't last very long. He realized that he had been pranked and we all had a good laugh. How much crime scene tape does it take to turn a doorway into a crime scene? Not very much at all. There are probably another 70 or 80 more great pranks left in that roll of tape. And so I'm looking for the next great opportunity to help someone else have a good laugh. A very cheap price to pay for a lot of future laughs!

This was used to rope off a crime scene in a short film that we were working on. The project is still undergoing some changes, or else I would have put it up for all to see it in action. This is sturdy and a great product. All the words are perfect in its blacks and the yellow is flawless. A 1000ft is a good amount for a moderate size crime scene.

I bought this roll of Crime Scene Tape for my little sister's Sweet 16 SHERLOCK and DOCTOR WHO themed Party. We used this as a part of a table run for the table decorations and also to "block" off the DANCE FLOOR area in which we had drawn a silhouette of a dead person on the floor. IT LOOKS AMAZING. It is easy to cut and it is not as transparent as I thought it would be. GREAT ITEM. I would highly recommend it. The role is HUGE and it was enough to decorate 30+ tables and a lot extra for trial and run table decor. AND like others have said, a lot of it is still left on the roll to use. :) Very satisfied with the purchase.

A humongous roll of crime scene tape. I have over half left even after using to prank a cubemate. Good quality and good price compared to others selling similar product.

It's criminal how much I love this tape. Who knew that a roll of yellow plastic tape could inspire so much chatter amongst the neighbors? We put it across our private road and when we drive out, we undo it and then put it back up. When the nosies...I mean neighbors are out walking and they ask us why it's there, we just tell them that we cannot talk about it or we will have to kill them... I wonder why no one comes for tea anymore....

We all know what caution tape looks and feels like. This is just like any other other caution tape you'd buy at the hardware store, only it's got "CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS" on it. Which is why I love it. Other decorative tapes are thinner and made of plastic that's just different enough to be an obvious decoration. But this is the real deal. Heck, it might actually be the same stuff the police use. So, if you're shooting an indie film that requires an accurate crime scene, In the mood to prank your coworkers by covering their office door with this stuff, or want Halloween decorations in your front yard that are so authentic that your neighbors might actually worry that a crime was committed...this is the product for you.

My wife wanted this for a laugh and expected it to be just some aftermarket junk, boy was she wrong ! this is the actual real deal law enforcement crime scene tape, just like the police use all over America, it is very well made well printed on thick mylar, law enforcement or just plain joking around you will not be unsatisfied, very good quality product

This police tape is really long (I mean REALLY SUPER long and its price is quite economical for a 1000 ft tape) and I was able to finish my sculpture project which it required lots of yellow police tape to cover 5 large boxes and two platforms. I still have more than half left so will be using it for Halloween or another art project. Here are photos just to get you some ideas. :)
