AmeriColorAirbrush Food Coloring, Pearl Sheen AmeriMist, 4.5 Ounce

I always love Americolor products, I have their full color set of frosting colors as well, and I decided I wanted to start working with fondant for cake decorating and while doing some online perusing, I found a recommendation to use this clear pearl sheen coloring with additional food coloring and making a gelatin mixture, putting it into a food processor or blender to make your own edible glitter. I though WOW, what a great, affordable idea for cake, cupcake and cookie decorating! Colored sugars and edible glitter are expensive so if I can make my own with a few affordable ingredients, why not?I already got this in and it is exactly what I was expecting. I have a feeling this one bottle is going to last me a very, very long time! I am also surprised and pleased it didn't leak all over during shipping and I really can't wait to start using this to make beautiful pearl sheens on everything! I am also planning to use it with other colors to get pearl colors to use for airbrushing the frostings and fondant I am going to be making. This stuff was amazing. I didn't have to add anything to it. I haven't used it with my airbrush kit but I was able to paint this onto a fondant cake, no problem. Highly recommended!

This worked pretty good for airbrushing it on my cake, I just had to do about 3 different layers of it for it to show up good. Yes I would recommend this.

I used the pearl sheen color to give decorated sugar cookies that "wow" finishing touch. Product worked well in my airbrush gun. Remember to mix well each time the well is filled. Results exceeded my expectations.

I ordered the pearl sheen for a wedding anniversary cake I made recently and used it with a master airbrush model s66 machine, inside the siphon feeder bottle. It sprayed beautifully onto the Swiss merengue buttercream, although, it did gray out my frosting a bit if I concentrated to much on one area.I included a low light picture and a photo with flash to see the differences in reflection of the sheen. All in all, I am very happy with it and would love to keep using it!

This liquid gives my Bathbombs that amazing, shimmery quality that reminds me of the Vintiq Vodka: it is absolutely astounding how well 20 drops in a huge batch can have an effect!
