The unit looks sturdy, and will last many years I bet
Once I receive the item from Amazon, I tested it with the white gas first. It was a bit ridiculous that the company does not provide the fuel can.Anyway, I used my MSR can, primed the generator around a minute, and turned on the gas. It bursted with the loud blue flame that looks powerful. The unit looks sturdy, and will last many years I bet. Very well made, and simple to use. I also like the weight of the unit that is not so flimsy light. With this unit, I also purchased Kovea propane gas adaptor so that I would use propane gas instead of butane. The adaptor fits into the burner snuggly, and the unit burns propane gas without any problem. Propane gas can could be rather heavy to carry around the backpacking trip, but it should be Okay just for camping. I am very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend!

Horrible Stove
This stove is the worst stove I have ever used. When starting it flares up, and flames go as high as 2 feet. The control is very hard to set and you have to continuously adjust the setting and watch the flames. Also it will drip burning fuel on the ground for up to 5 minutes which can cause unwanted fires. It is also very loud and I ended up having to borrow a friends stove on the trip so that we all could remain safe, free of unwanted fires and so that we could actually talk during cooking. If you need a good reliable stove for back country this is not it.

Solid stove
Really well built backpacking stove. It should last a lifetime. This is a litle heavier than some of the other stoves out there, and it's not really meant for one person. Best for 3 or more people. It can handle a large pot and heats up rally fast. In windy conditions, you'll want a wind screen. I use it with white gas, which it burns sparingly.

Great all-around stove
I own the Brunton branded version of this Kovea stove and use it for small group cooking, as a third burner for larger groups, and as my primary car camping/hiking stove. It is a good compromise between the pocketrocket style isobutane stoves (designed to quickly boil water for 1-2 people) and the two burner Coleman style propane stoves. It simmers well and is easier to pack as it comes with a nice case that holds the maintenance kit and tools. It is more flexible than my whisperlight as it runs on whitegas, isobutane, and (with adapters) propane and butane without needing to change its setup. Since I'm not locked into one type of fuel or canister, I have used whitegas/adapted butane for baking and long simmers, then grabbed a 100g canister and gone on a day hike. It is also an all season stove because of the flexibility of fuel options.Beware though, it is much louder than the other stoves listed above. I wound up purchasing a quietstove adapter to tame the volume to reasonable levels.

Best multi fuel stove
The media could not be loaded. This stove appears well built, burns hot and efficient. It comes with extra o-rings, a hand tool and a pump that screws into a gas can which does not come with this kit. The stove, extra o-rings and hand tool fit in the fabric case that comes with the kit. The pump will not fit in the case but I don't intend to use it since I will only burn butane. See below...I choose to burn butane to save weight so I purchased the Kovea butane adapter (also fits in the case)B00CFPIT06and cook with butane canisters which can be purchased at your local Asian markets. The canisters are much cheaper at the local stores (about 4/$5). The canister are similar to theseGas One Gasone Butane CanistersI use less than one canister a day for 2 people. This includes cooking & fuel for the lantern.I only bring butane canisters on camping trips. They are cheap, light and burn efficiently. I also use butane for the following appliancesButane torch (use as a lighter or to roast food & steaks)Iwatani Torch Burner Professional Cb tc proButane lanternBulin BL300 F2 Ultralight Camping LanternThis stove cooks fast.
