This was at gift for my 6 year old niece, she enjoys reading book that have characters that look like us, doing great things.

Absolutely LOVED this book. Representation at its finest⭐️. I loved the fact that it showed the many different professions girls can go into. Would definitely recommend to friends who have daughters!

Great little book to instill values in any little girl. A beginners guide to black girl magic with attractive illustrations and easy to read font. I would definitely recommend.

I ordered this book for my 3yr old daughter who loves reading and being read to. From the 1st page with the little girl sitting in bed with the bonnet and a book my daughter says "daddy she looks like me!" She was hooked. Every page we read my daughter said " daddy i wanna do that!" I so happy i bought this book and read it to her. She loved seeing a little brown girl doing big thing that fits her imagination!

I bought this book for my 1 year old baby girl and we love it! The pictures are bold and bright so they keep her attention and I appreciate that she sees a girl who looks like her in all the different careers. It’s easy to read, the words are simple and the letters are big so it’s perfect for when she’s ready to start reading. As she gets older we can talk about each career and what it takes to start and succeed in each role, so it’s a good conversation starter too. I’m gonna homeschool, so I can use it as a starting point for projects, we can research each career and find out more about it. There’s so many ways we can use this book to explore what she’s interested in and how she can use career opportunities to make a difference in the world. So I 100% recommend this book for all future world changing women🙏🏽

Great granddaughter absolutely loved it!

Girls Like Me reminds me not to put limits on my potential. It reminds little brown girls and boys that they have options and whatever their dreams are, it's within their reach. To see this little girl with her natural and her bonnet working in so many fields is truly an inspiring sight to see. I can't wait to gift this book to all my friends with kids and save it for my own future kids. The illustration is beautiful and inclusive and detailed. I'm so excited to see a book that normalizes black girls excelling and having the same drive and determination as others. I will revisit this book often when I'm doubting myself. This book is a reminder that it's yours if you go for it!
