I have a somfy wind retractor installed. Would this remote work?

how do you change batteries ?

There is a small screw on the back that opens up the remote. There should be really no reason to change batteries in one of these remotes at this point as they typically last 8 to 10 years and this version remote has only been on the market for less than a year.

Will this remote control work for a Solair awning?

If your Solair awning has a Somfy RTS motor installed then you can use this remote. If you are not sure what kind of motor is installed you can contact the manufacturer and they should be able to tell you.

Does what it was purchased for

Upon the advice of a professional we purchased this RTS remote to pair with our sun awning that was missing a means of operation. Once paired it operates the awning perfectly and still has four more channels to pair things with in the future.
