Compact and useful is the best way to describe it. This item comes with the bag as shown in pics. so whenever you are going camping no need to worry about what you wanna carry for cooking just pick this bag and go. Quality is really nice and items are very light weight so easy to carry them. Comes with a small chopping board which is a difficult item to carry as in home we mostly have big ones only. Price is also good.1. Well organized.2. Light weight3. Easy to carry4. Comes with bag to carry.5. Almost all the tools are covered.

I am actually buying this item for a friend at work. She does not have a knife roll so her knives are in a simple bag. I figured this would be a little bit better. It is a bonus that it has a knife. She can use it as a "beater" knife. (Her main knives are globals.) Also, it is nice that there is a pair of scissors. (She keeps borrowing mine right now when she needs it. It's not bad that she borrows it, but when I need it, I have to find where she left it. I have enough trouble finding where I left them... Don't need her to complicate things.)THere is a joke of a cutting board inside. I guess if you are at a campsite, it might be useful, but I expect her to never use it.I took one star off because of a slight smell. Not super strong, but it is there.

Excellent quality bag! Will be using this for our dutch oven for camping. Also has room to add in a few things such as wooden spoons for use with my backpacker pan set, a can opener, and my favorite pairing knives. I also purchased with this the Cutlery organizer utensil travel set in stainless steel with a matching bag to this bag. (Yes, I color cordenate my camping equipment... makes life easier when packing up from group camping) Also depending on your SHTF prepping it would pack nicely in a backpack for essential cooking supplies.

There is only 1 picture of the outside of the bag on this product, and it is minimized. IT IS HIDEOUS. Everything inside is fine and does what it should for $20; I don't expect it to last long since the bag tore when I pulled one of the spatula out. Again, $20, I would probably buy again.

I received this today and it has a defect on the fork handle. (See Photo) I guess you can't expect much for $30 but very disappointing just the same. Otherwise the set is just okay. The bag is the only thing I like about this set. It is difficult to see in the pictures and video but the utensils are very small and lightweight. Three of the utensils are are made with a very thin and much lower grade of stainless steel. As mention in another review, one of the utensils broke. It says these are stainless steel in the description but they are misrepresenting this product. I have returned it and reordered a different cooking set for the same price. I ordered the Chef Basics Colorful 7 Piece BBQ Tool Set. This set has 4 of the same utensils. They are made of high quality stainless steel and will not break like this set.

Carrying case is handy to keep everything together, however hanging it up while open allows the utensils to fall out. Opening on a table for access takes up a lot of valuable space. I would not buy again or recommend to others.

Such a great kit! I don't camp. But, I travel a lot and prefer cooking over going out and spending a lot of money. This very lightweight and compact kit has all the basics. The knife alone is worth the price. Very sharp! I'm also going to sneak in some of my own forks, spoons, knives in the kit, in case the kitchen I use don't have that. I'm so happy that I purchased this.

I do a lot of camping with friends as well as with the Boy Scouts. It seems I am always turning to this kit, which I always pack along in my car, to find something that someone else didn't bring or forgot. It's a great, basic camp cooking utensil set. I would recommend adding a basic cooking spoon as the "spoon" that is included is more of a ladle...but it's a pretty good ladle. I also added a few wooden utensils for my cast iron. Good, basic setup. Some of the items are a bit flimsy, thus the 4-star rating. But if it's only for occasional use, this is a great option.
