Dahle 533 Professional Guillotine Trimmer, 13-3/8" Cut Lengt

Q: Would I be able to trim off 1/16" just to make something small enould to fit in a wallet?

I contacted my rep at Dahle directly, and this was her response: "I just went in to our showroom and tried cutting a sheet of paper down on the 533 and it did a great job cutting. I also tried it on a rolling trimmer and that seems to do a little better on fine cuts like that. Just a side note, the smallest increment on the cutting board is 1/8 of an inch so your customer would have to mark the sheet in order to get down to 1/16"."

Q: will this cut 18" long x 3/16" thick foam board with one push along it's entire length?

Unfortunately we do not suggest using any of our trimmers on foam board. The Guillotines crush the foam board and the material is too dense for our Rolling Trimmers so the blade just hits it and stops.

Q: Is this actually manufactured in Germany? German engineered does not necessarily mean it is German made.
