Better then I expected. I might ad a picture later. It's not a complete block out of sun and that's what I wanted. I have black out curtains in my bedroom and when I get up in the morning I pull one of them back to get some sun light and let my 3 dogs look out the window, but it's summer and I can feel the hot sun rays coming in. I can't feel the hot sun rays now and I'm still getting good light. When I go outside in the day I can't see my dogs standing there, I also wanted some privacy. At night with lights on you can see in but you can't see images clearly. I'm doing some renovations and it didn't look good looking in at night. Now it just looks like a regular inside of a house, that was another thing I wanted. The inside got scratched a bit with the use of a large putty knife to get the soapy water out. You have to look close to see it and it didn't scratch any of the shiny reflective part. That was important to me. That's why I didn't get the silver color and got the dark back. I think the silver shiny type will scratch right through.In the picture, the bottom window has the film on it and none on the top. The top you can see the curtain hanging across and the bottom my dogs are at the window but all you see is the reflection of my front lawn and the vehicles.

I really like this product. I bought for my sons bed room as he just moved to a big boy bed in a different room and we didnt have Black out curtains like in the nursery. I would say it cuts the light that comes through by about 50-60 % and with blind and curtains it really darkened the room to a good nap time dimness. You can see right out of it though which is what I wanted. Other than everything appearing tinted it is just as clear as the plain glass. And no one can see into his room. I will be getting more for the nursery as well. One roll did one window in my house (Big windows). Also super easy to apply. You will need a spray bottle of water, a soft straight edge (to get all air bubbles out) and an exacto knife to trim to window. There is not adhesive on the tint so it does not stick to itself and get aggrivating or worse wasteful if it hits itself. it only sticks to wet glass and is fully movable and removable with ease but it will stay up unless you pull off once fully applied. and you can reapply if you remove with more water

You can see through both sides on the tint. But it does add a lot of shade to your window. It was very easy to apply. And was very easy to cut.It adhered great to the window.I would say for the value it would be worth it and it also looks very good.But if you’re looking for privacy, I would try to look into a different brand.
