God Empowered Wife: How Strong Women Can Help Their Husbands Become Godly Leaders

I had read the book, the Empowered Wife and I was trying to align it with the scriptures because it is not faith based but it is a very good book. After studying that book I ran across this one . I read the sample and knew I had to read it. It is one of the best books that I have read on marriage for women. I have read ALOT. This book is full of wisdom and the word to back it up. There is a part in this book about the difference between seeking God and seeking God's Kingdom that really impacted me. I have made that constant reminder. Even after years as a follower of Christ this book taught me so much. I would recommend it to all wives that want to have a marriage like God designed it to be.

So many today are afraid of godly submission, but that may be the very reason our marriages are failing. This book gives hope of a truly satisfying marriage.

This was a fantastic read! It’s so easy to find fault in my husband but after reading this it helped me to take a look at myself and how I contributed to some of his insecurities, which in turn had caused big problems in our marriage. This book changed my view on being a submissive wife and how I can use this to grow my husband in his confidence in order to lead our family. Wasn’t easy for this independent strong willed woman but so worth it!

Haught uses her tragic testimony to encourage others to understand and grasp God's plan for us strong women. God made no mistake in how He made us, we just need to understand how He wants to use us.I have read many solid Christian books about being the wife that God wants me to be, but this one touched my heart on several points that I have never before been able to fully understand. If you want to be a wife that brings glory to God then this book is a must read for you

Wow, this was a fantastic read with a lot of good gems, insights, and scripture.It gave me a LOT to think about in my own marriage, and I think any wife could gain insights and appreciate reading this

I am a licensed clinical social worker and am pursuing training in biblical counseling as well. We are in the process of establishing a counseling ministry at my church and I was on Amazon searching for a book for wives who are discouraged, defeated. I ordered this book after reading previous reviews about it. It arrived and I opened it around 5pm, and I finished it the same night. I was very pleased with the extensive use of scripture throughout the book. I read it quickly (this time) as I wanted to pass it along to other women. Almost every frustration they share with me was addressed in this book. It is so easy to see only a husband's sin and abdication, not our own sin and responsibility. This book will be transforming for women who long to follow God's lead but do not know how to see beyond their struggles right now. We can argue all day long about feelings, who's right, responsibility, etc. But scripture cuts through our arguments and gets to the truth of our sin. This book points wives to God as the healer of relationships and provides hope for those who earnestly seek to glorify God in their marriages.

This was an excellent book, so convicting. Uh-oh.
