I grow a variety of fruit trees in my south Florida yard and am constantly trying to protect my fruit from all the critters that are determined to make a buffet out of my garden. Instead of trying to "protect" them with barriers like organza bags, solo cups, wire mesh nets and the like, I decided to try "hiding" the fruit from sight of the varmints. I figured these paper bags wouldn't last longer than a week in the heavy rains, sun intensity and strong winds down here but held up surprisingly well. They breath, protect from sun scald while allowing sufficient light to hit the fruit for proper ripening. The only improvement that I could ask for would be to re-align the metal wire used to cinch the bag closed, horizontally along the top instead of vertically along the side. Its current configuration makes it difficult to close, especially when there's fruit inside and hanging on a branch.

These bags have holes cut into them. It does not say so in product description. I needed to protect against bugs infesting fruit and with these bags money thrown out and I lost all my fruit. Look for suppliers who describe their products correctly and stay away from these guys!
