This is very sharp, nice weight very balanced, works great, not dull but very sharp we used it for the first time just now, I like to buy chuck roast then cut them into chuck steak, so I had 2 different chuck roast my husband cut the first and I cut the 2nd roast, it cut them into perfect steaks, I got 6 thick steaks, I love how it's so balanced the handle is so easy on your hands, I plan on buying another one, because all we eat is meat, I highly recommend this for any one to buy it's worth it!!! Awesome love it!!

Great knife, amazing value
My second poudin knives and I love them both. The feel and quality of a knife 5x the price. Could not tell a difference in feel or performance compared to a high end japanese or German name brand. You know the $200 ones I'm talking about.
