this is awesome, you get I think three little packets of the saffron but in powder form, great and really easy to use in cooking or baking right away without preparing saffron threads.

Easy and convenient to use in recipes. Keep in mind this is a powder and not the pistils, but it's got great flavor. Put it in soups, sauces, heat with butter or butter and milk.

I used this in a beef roast recipe that I found in a Medieval cookbook (15th century) and it turned out very well. The only thing bad I can say is there wasn't enough of the spice to warrant me spending as much as I did. This is an extremely expensive spice. It is a quality spice but expensive.

I didn't realize this item comes in 3 small packs. It's dried powder in individually wrapped papers of beautiful red color powdered saffron. Good flavor, has a very light spiceyness ,just not enough of it,lol. Dissatisfied with the size/quantity. If I knew it was that small I would not have bought it. Othewise...everything else was great! It seemed fresh to me. You can put it in about anything, really versatile.I put it in my tea and didn't even taste it. I guess that's a good thing? Not gonna find out the benefits of it because there's not enough to even get it built up in my system, lol.. That's ok tho, stuff happens.

I love this when I make paella. I use saffron strands as well but this really adds some color to the rice. Great for when you don't want saffron strands or when you want both. The packages are the perfect size.

I love saffron, this was good quality. Would purchase again in the future.

Outter boxes states its packaged for the llc 2016 and the packets themselves state 2015. Which makes this product a decade old. Normally that year is a date that updates per packaging year. Just wow!
