Decent choice for a budget gaming rig!
Took a gamble and bought for my son so he could play Fortnight and GTA5 and maybe a few other older games. And it actually runs both FN and GTA5 really well! Very little lag and it can handle decent graphics settings (so I am told by a 13 year old). If you’re looking for a budget gaming rig in a small package, the it’s definitely worth the money.

Runs great with Ubuntu
I love the performance of this little box. Boots in no time (Linux, not Windows), picture is crisp in UHD, everything runs the way you want it. And it is absolutely quiet, no fan humming, still the box remains cool. If you plan to install Ubuntu, download the older 20.04.1. I had problems (hanging install script) with the current 20.04.2.

This product will not support Windows 11 without a BIOS upgrade
Documentation needs to be made available to customers.

Zippy Box
This is a zippy little box. I got it so my wife could handle household accounting and surf the web. Probably overkill for that, but if you think long term (10 Years) coupled with how easy this box is to backup and upgrade, it's kind of a no brainer. For you classic pc gamers that download stuff from Steam, this machine is perfectly fine. For high fps gaming, this is not for you.

Tiny, FAST, quiet; A well designed end product.
Re-growing our business as we recoup from the pandemic I needed replacement hardware and a solid choice for a desktop office setup. Our previous laptop +monitor configuration worked well but made for an awkward work from home experience. I've tested 6 models/brands of mini desktop PC's. With my prior experience of returning 2 fake Beelink units to Amazon I had resolved to stayiong with laptops. Then i ran across the HM50.Today my opinion is this - The products from Minis Forum are hands down the best! These guys are having fun over there and in turn so am I. The HM50 was my first test-box. The unbranded Windows installation was quick to setup and missing the bloatware and extra fat installed on big brand competitors. Everything was crisp and clean. I installed our standard suite of programs and devices. Let me tell you. I was like a kid in a candy store. This thing ran 3 times the full set of software without skipping a beat. Through our IT provider I had over 100 Microsoft documents open across all MS Office 365 programs. Our CRM loaded in 3 sessions. 3 video chats. Not one issue.. So this, just for fun, I opened a movie and a handful of youtube videos. Then finally an internet speed test which hit 325Mbps down (I have a 100 Mbps connection). Making full use of my tri-band router. With all this running the Task Manager reported CPUs averaging 30-60%, memory was good, not maxed out or utilizing a swap. GPU good. The system remained snappy with quick swapping from one application to the next. There was no hesitation or delay moving between a slide show powerpoint to youtube to the movie in the background. All three monitors were responsive. Dragging applications across the desktops from one screen to the next did not catch or stick.I am actually on a HM50 now with Windows 11, a 35" Ultra wide curved monitor running 3440x1440 @100 Mhz, music playing through SONOS while preparing it for a new hire. I stopped in to buy a few more so i have them ready. The only issue yet has been the past 2 days in Windows 11 environment. Win 11 continues to remove the drivers for the wifi card. The system shows the card and it is active but the version 22.7.* drivers for the intel ax200 can not be seen. The result is loss of connection and no ability to see WiFi networks. There is a bios update for this unit to bring it inline for Windows 11 hardware security requirements. Minis Forms does need a better system for deploying these files as I found more than one offering. Downloading the files means entering a public file sharing page frought with clickbait. One wrong move and you end up with self authorized browser notifications. More click bait trying to guide you into installing malware. The two firmware instructions sets were interesting. For the HM50 and HM80 the actual firmware data files contained the same code. Installation methods were where the two began deviation. One walked you through creating a bootable usb drive. Had I not printed the steps I surely would have been stuck. The command sets were very specific and not well written. The included screen grabs did help. The other version updated the bio directly from Windows 10 UI.Over all the experience has been great and I am up to 6 HM50 units purchased and deployed. In all:HM50 = 6 unitselitemini x400 = 4 units (requires an ACTIVE adapter if using display-port to HDMI)HX90 = Awaiting release and deliveryThanks miniforums!!

This IS Really Well Designed - The Ryzen 7 APU is Not as Amazing as I'd Hoped
OK, I like this little system which mounted very nicely to the back of a VESA mount equipped 32" IPS Display - In truth I really don't have anything to truly complain about - I just thought the Ryzen 7 U class APU (yeah I know AMD is not referring to these like that anymore) would be a bit stronger, able to take on heavier workloads seeing as these seem to have a pretty decent heatpipe cooler, nicely situated. The maker even provided a place for a BU drive in the quick-release lid - simple elegant design! They also designed a kind of a thermal compartment with a little breathing room for the hot running NVMe M.2 storage which also makes it fairly easy to upgrade if desire - memory also fairly easy to upgrade the SODIMMs - Clearly Coofun or Minis Forum, whoever makes these did some genius design work though maybe should re-thing the name "Coofun" to something more appropriate to the product and market - just saying...

installing a SSD is not that easy. You have to dig deep to find the cables.
After reading comments from others I spotted what COULD BE the essential cabling. These are white and black wires just beyond a black heat sync and in front of vents. What worries me is that these might be the wrong wires. Instead, I WILL AWAIT COMMENTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER INDICATING WHETHER I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK OR WRONG TRACK.XXXXXXXX Updated 2 days after the review from above XXXXXXXXXXLocated the right cable and connector for installing the SSD. It is the black cable over in the middle of the motherboard. Its easy to see but you can't tell what it is until you turn it around and see the connector. So Problem solved. And with the SSD installed, and the box running as it should, its a thing of beauty. I have a home build desktop with a Ryzen 5 3400G, and this UM700 performs roughly the same. Really, its a thing of beauty.

The graphics card is soldered to the cpu
Works pretty well, I’m not sure how to get the cooling fan to start and I’m upset that the graphics card cannot be changed out. You will probably need to uprgrade in two years but you can take the sticks of RAM with you on your next pc build at least.
