Q: How do you print over bluetooth?

Although I’ve paired my phone & printer via Bluetooth -- printer does not print vial Bluetooth - only WiFi or WiFi-direct (which is a pain bc u cannot be on the interned via WiFi & print using WiFi-direct! simultaneously). You must print your “saved” page “off.line” via WiFi/direct! Bluetooth would have been a handy feature to use printing when online via WiFi!!!

Q: Can u charge this machine in the car using the USB cord?

Yes, but a printer specific USB port on the rear of the printer must be used, requiring purchase of the necessary cables and/or adapters. According to the User Guide:Charging the battery using AC power can take up to 2.5 hours. If AC power is removed and the printer is turnedoff, the battery can also be charged when the USB port on the rear of the printer is connected to the chargingUSB port of another device. The charging USB port must be able to supply a minimum of 1 ampere.For example:1- USB charging port on a notebook computer (identified by a lightning symbol near the host port)2- USB charger that is connected to a wall outlet (can be generic or one used for mobile phones or tablets)3- USB charger that is connected to the power port in a car (can be generic or one used for mobile phonesor tablets)

Q: The description says: "Main functions of this HP all-in-one portable printer: scan, copy, fax, easy portable printing wherever you need it" -- fax???

This printer does not have a modem on it, so it can not fax. The index in the user guide jumps from E to H, no F, no Fax. The HP How-To page for the HP 250 printer does not list fax. You could use the printer to scan to an eFax service though. This is a great printer in all other aspects.

Q: does this printer work with iphones or air print

I didn’t even have to install an app. You set it up in the settings of your iPhone, which probably links it by WiFi, but I don’t think it even asks. If I want to print from my iPhone, I just tap print, and this printer shows up as an available printer. Tap to confirm, and whatever you wanted to print, is printed immediately. I also added it to my iPad, and my MacBook Pro, and it works great.
