Does this fit the La Chateau decanter?

Hello, each cork ball stopper for wine decanter is approx. 2.4 inch/ 6.1 cm in diameter, and you should measure the diameter of the bottle before you buy these cork balls, avoid making a mistake. Thanks.

Will this cork ball be too big if the diameter of the bottle is 2.4 inches?

My decanter has an elliptical opening, 2.5 x 2.375 across each mid-point. The ball sits about an inch into the opening, so my dear husband screwed an attractive cup hook into one of the balls so that we can retrieve it. I tried to add a pic, but it didn't take. Since then, I have learned that a small piece of Stretch-tite plastic wrap works just as well. Good luck...if this helps at all.

Made in China, I learned after buying it.

Shappy cork balls for glass decanters

Shappy 2 piece cork ball stoppers for my wine decanters is a smart idea. I ordered these for a dinner party, wanting to make sure the decanter opening was protected from anything getting into the wine. Problem was the wine was always gone, decanters emptied, before I could put them to use. Then of course, the ball stopper became a toy of entertainment with the men at the table so had to put those in the kitchen. Ready for another gathering and already placed the cork ball onto the decanter and is working well keeping it safe and sound.

Perfect

The rounded shape fits my decanter perfectly. The order is for two and for the price it’s definitely a bargain. Also, I love that they smell like cork even after several uses.
