So much easier to keep water topped up HIGHLY recommended if you want your batteries to last.

This was an easy install.The kit may be plastic, but seems really well made.I purchased both parts: The kit and the pump assembly.Was really install to install despite that my batteries are way back in the aft berth of our sail boat and can only be reached at arms length.Once installed, I was able to top up the battery fluid easily.Using the hand pump that has a very nice attachment to the tube that connects to the system, it was really easy. If I needed to top up the batteries, I would simply use the hand pump to fill the pump hose with distilled water, then connect to the watering system, a few quick pumps and the batteries would be topped off.I expected to be able to purchase distilled water from the local Auto Stores, but none of them carried it. They all told me to go to the local grocery store. What?But they were right. 99cents a gallon in the water isle of the local Wynn Dixie Grocery store.

If you are an RV'er you know how most of the chassis maintenance items are at locations almost impossible to reach. This was the problem I had maintaining the fluid level in my chassis battery as well as the house batteries. I saw this unit and thought I would give it a try, well it works exactly as the company advertises. You can hookup one or a number of batteries to the system. You will need the pump kit to pump distilled water from the jug to the batteries, this is a separate purchase. There was more than enough tubing to route the batteries and the pump from the jug to the batteries. No special tools are needed for installation, instruction is quite simple and once the unit is in place no more trying to open fill caps in impossible locations. Maintenance is everything with a motorhome and anything that makes that task easy is for me. *I am quite sure this is NOT to be used for pumping acid or any other dangerous fluid*.

Good product but the package was probably a return because some parts were missing and rather go through the hassle of returning I improvised the missing parts.
