CanaKit Raspberry Pi 4 Starter Kit (8GB RAM / 64GB SD)

As a first time pi user, I knew what I wanted and have a good knowledge behind pc building and using Linux.I needed this to go in my car, and then go through the oem TV connection, this worked perfectly.As per pi, they're very finnikey to power, if it had bad power it'll get caught in a boot loop.The sd card comes pre mounted with a selection of operating systems, rasbian and so on. But it also comes with a sdcard to USB reader so easy enough to change to whatever.The case is easy to setup, but doesn't have room if you're adding a hat.If you're a beginner, I recommend it, price is okay, easy to use. Just make sure you have some sort of clue on how to use Linux.

Best Rasp pi yet! Used it to make an OMV and media server as well as a retro console. The kit comes with everything you need to get up and running (minus a keyboard and mouse of course) and is well worth the money!I hooked up a terramaster 4 bay enclosure as storage and the thing runs like a dream!

Great starter kit for the initiated. Originally purchased to migrate Pi-Hole away from the NAS and run it in parallel with AdGuard Home (running in a docker container on my NAS). Up and running in under half an hour. Now looking into other things and projects this little beast can gobble up.As mentioned by other reviewers, the fan is quite audible. Ok, I don't live in complete silence, but the fan can be heard in a quiet room. It's not a deal breaker, but can be annoying to some.

I bought this product as I wanted an internal Plex media server, there are devices out there with more power and if you are wanting to use it externally you will probably need something with a little more grunt, but overall this product was easy to setup with clear instructions, worked straight away, I was up and running in 20 mins.

Great starter kit to get your Raspberry Pi up and running. Not fully comprehensive - still need a keyboard, monitor and mouse to run it but provides a lot of essentials specific to the Pi - including NOOBS operating system pre installed on the 32GB SD card. In particular, the power adapter On/Off switch is a great addition to the kit.The only negative I have is some of the equipment is a little on the cheap side. For example, my mini HDMI adapter broke after only 1 week of light use and I had to buy a replacement.Overall a great starter kit for any beginner to the Raspberry Pi world - but be prepared to upgrade a couple of adapters.

has everything you need to start a raspberry pi 4. nice instruction booklet too. Quality SD card too (Samsung evo). nice touch of a usb on / off switch. I did purchase though a different non fan based case for the pi4 purely out of personal preference, as im not a great fan of fans, and whiles it comes with heatsinks and sticky compound to transfer the heat, I wanted something a bit more serious. that said, I installed raspbian without any case / heatsink just to see how hot the cpu got, and to be fair it was fine.

Takes about 10 minutes to put together, it's all very simple. Software installation is almost entirely automated and it comes with everything you need to get it up and running (except for a keyboard, mouse and monitor of course).I purchased mine to build a low cost, low power consumption intranet server and it fits the job nicely.

Takes a few minutes to connect all the parts and then 30 minutes to install the OS which is a breeze using the card provided. I have a few Pi's of various vintages as this is by far the most powerful and useable. Kit contains everything you need to be up and running, it all fits and all works so 5/5 for a great kit.
