I bought this because my previous dock failed on me and will no longer be detected. I bought this because it's a lot smaller than my previous one, which makes it easier to bring with me. So far, I haven't had any issues with this dock and am pleased with it!

Had an emergency situation where I needed to get a slideshow that was on a Windows laptop onto my chrome-book for display at an event. This did the trick. I was able to connect to HDMI cord to this device and to my projector. I had to go in and change some screen mirroring settings on the chrome book, and I was all set.

Pros:- fair price- good construction/durable- sleek- 4k output - not one issue for several weeksCons:- get's hot- doesn't seem to charge higher than 500mA- usb C connection extremely tight with macbook pro 16" connection. May damage hub after a few usesI primarily use it for HDMI output to 4K 55" LG TV for my second work screen, with ethernet connection. I sometimes charge my iphone or bt headset with it and it seems very slow. I haven't tested read/write speeds.It's difficult to disconnect the usb-c connection from my laptop, so I'm concerned it will eventually break after a few more unplugging.

My primary use so far (first day) has been thumb drive, mouse receiver, and Ethernet. All worked perfectly. My laptop has it's own HDMI connection but I will try this also later.

I bought this because it said it would be able to run my third HDMI monitor, one SSD external hard drive, and a gigabit ethernet connection. My monitor kept glitching, my drive wouldn't stay connected, and the internet speed was an eighth of what it would be if connected directly. Don't waste your money.

Handy little device for connecting a few usb things to my macbook pro - I like it better than the squid-type adaptor I had before, especially with the added HDMI and ethernet ports. Seems high quality. Only been using a few weeks, no problems so far.

This is used to hook my wired internet into my Dell XPS 15 computer. It works very well.

Really wanted to have this so it could work with my Mac and my Switch and other thing I could use it for but it only worked with the Mac. It seems a little pricey for what it is compared to others and even then it works just okay. Gets hot when connected to a charger for a while and I wouldn’t recommend leaving it in for too long.Overall it’s okay I guess but not worth the money and not as versatile as it should be.I’d look into something else. Returned this and did just that.

Aufgrund der Beschreibung sieht es so aus, als würde das Geräte an einem Mac arbeiten, ob es an einem USB-C eines Windows -Rechners arbeitet ist nicht so klar.Hab es ber gekauft, weil es alles hat: HDMI, LAN + 3x USB 3. Und es arbeitet gerade problemlos mit dem externen Monitr und dem Lankapen sowie den USB-Eingängen an einem HP Windows Laptop.Hier machen manche Adapter Probleme. Dieser nicht.Es fehlt, sollte das jeman zusätzlich benötigen, das auch die externe Stromversorgung darüber läuft. Diesen Anschluss hat der sehr kleine Adapter nicht.

An sich ein sehr guter, kompakter Adapter. 4K@60Hz. Benutze sowohl HDMI, die USB Ports (einer noch frei) und Ethernet gleichzeitig. Gerade an heißen Sommertagen beobachte ich manchmal nach stundenlanger Nutzung, dass die Netzwerkverbindung ausfällt. Da das meist durch Ein-/Ausstecken des Adapters lösbar ist, habe ich etwas die Wärmeentwicklung in Verdacht. Alles in allem zu sporadisch, um sicher zu sein, aber evtl. würde ich mir eher ein etwas größeren Adapter kaufen. Attraktiv waren eben 4K@60Hz und, dass keine SD-Kartenslots dabei sind, die ich nicht brauchte.
