Every time I think about the violence on Grace, I get sick to my stomach.There is a lot going on in this novel. A lot of action, many characters involved. Joona has the magical power of going in and out of prison in the shortest time ever, and is as usual the key to solve the mistery limiting the damages.As I said in my reviews of the other books from Lars Kepler, The Sandman is my favourite, but The rabbit hunter definetely left a mark.I hate Lars Kepler for the suspense they create in the last chapter. Apparently in Lazarus - the next book of the series - Jurek Walter will magically come back from the dead, and I can't wait to know what his sick mind will come up with. Too bad the English version in not yet on Amazon!!!!Enjoy your reading!:)

Lars Kepler weaves an amazing premise and delivers a mundane conclusion. Barring Stalker, Hypnotist and Fire Witness the novels have raised a lot of expectations but has not being able to ably deliver. Still a better book than most on stands right now.

As always Lars Kepler does not disappoint!! Amazing writing, amazing story, great twists and great characters. I love reading their books but hate having to wait so long for them to be translated to English! One of my absolute favourite authors!And Amazon of course had a great price and fast delivery :)

I brought this book with me to France to read on the plane. It was a pleasure to have such a well written book that captured my attention even while I was in Arles and Aix en Provence. The main character starts as a child being taught survival skills by a fascinating but dangerous man who appears to have bonded with them child. It takes a while to realize that the background for this book is a collapse of civilization but I was thankful to not have to read about someone’s version of “the end of times” as the real story is engrossing, carefully written and the characters are the story. The rabbit hunter is a scraggly scary man who keeps you on edge

A little disappointed ....book is smaller than expected and the original title should read The Rabbit Hunter. I do collect and save these books but I may have to repurchase through Chapters or Costco to get the correct one and who knows I may have to reread the book in case parts are missing too!
