I bought bowls first. I had white stoneware bowls that were heavy and had over time become covered in grey scratches. I took Amazon’s advise and bought Dowan’s set of four bowls. I liked them. They were easy to stack. I found myself preferring them to eat from. So I bought four more and took my other bowls to GoodWill. Then I decided to send the other stoneware white plates to Goodwill and bought Dowan plates. Then I sent the stoneware serving dishes for pasta and salads and bought Dowan’s version of them, and Dowan’s beautiful mixing bowls. Why do I like them so much? I ask myself? They are not stoneware, they are porcelain. But they seem more solid yet lighter than the usual china. There is a slight crafted feeling to them where they don’t seem like stamped out perfection but a crafted excellence. Who knows what draws me to want them. They are pleasing to touch. I like them better for everyday than anything I have owned before. I’ll probably buy cups and smaller plates eventually. I don’t need them, I have dishes. They are great in the microwave and dishwasher. They are beautifully made in China, and affordable.

I love these bowls. They are large enough to cook my oatmeal in the microwave without overflowing. They look nice and clean well. You just need to get used to the size. My husband overfilled his first bowl of cereal as these are larger than our or previous bowls. They do take up a bit more room in the dishwasher.

Well made and easly to clean, perfect for additional bowls

These bowls are well made, have a clean look, and are a great size for soup, cereal, pasta, and other meals. They feel sturdy and have held up well so far. The only downside I’ve noticed is that they get pretty hot if you microwave food for more than about a minute, so you’ll want to use caution when taking them out.

These are fantastic. I'd bought their stacking mixing / container bowls with lids and knew I loved them, so thought I'd give these a try. They are lightweight and strong. They are easy to clean and very durable. The design is simple and classy. They are white but they aren't brilliant white. I have very light cream colored plates and they match just fine. I highly recommend them. I use them for soup, stews, and even for serving small items. I purchased the 22 oz size.

I am thrilled how much we use these bowls. Perfect for cereal, salad, soup, serving bowl, counter display for small fresh fruits like lemons and plums. Perfect size!

Nice Bowls!

I microwave a cup of oatmeal three times a week. I have some 20-oz.deep narrow bowls that would overflow the oatmeal if left unattended for the 3-minute cooking time. These 22-oz. Dowans are a godsend! They have the width and depth to prep my oatmeal without spilling over without having to monitor for spillage. They’re also great for chil! I know it might sound silly waxing happily over everyday kitchen bowls but it’s the little pleasures in life that make a difference. :) oh, and their price for four bowls is spot on!

Lovely dishes great size unfortunately one arrived broken but emailed the company and they replaced all dishes for me as only had sets ...really pleased with there customer service ..would recommend ..
