A nice surprise! Very good quality for the price.
This mount is pretty darn solid for the price. I was looking for a nice mount for my bump helmet I wasnโt trying to break the bank on that set up so I looked into replicas of the Wilcox L4 G24 because I have, and really donโt enjoy using, the Norotos Rhino. The main differences is that the Norotos (or the many other very common mounts with a similar styles as the Norotos) mount is HUGE compared to the G24 (or replicas of that mount as this one is). This mount is working great for me so far. Another really big thing that made me decide to keep this mount is that it is very sturdy and does not have much wobble compared to the Norotos mounts(Norotos mounts with the bayonet style connector for pvs14s is the absolute worst. With it fully set up everything adjusted to your liking, all screws possible tightened down, the nvg will still have a TON of play and will easily wiggle around in the stowed and deployed positions and it drove me nuts). This mount has so many nice features to adjust to your specific facial features, itโs really great. It is an absolute perfect copy of the Wilcox mount and that thing is a pearl. I think the one and only thing I can possibly think to say was a little odd about this mount is the button to release the J Arm was a bit difficult to press the first ~5 times but it loosened up and is working great(I hope this button does not become an issue). For a fraction of the price of the real one this one is a steal it also only weighs ~2 ounces more than the real deal, you wonโt even notice that. Overall very satisfied with this item, it is relatively new and I havenโt used it so much to say that it is 100% perfect but from the times I have used it, it had preformed perfectly exactly how I needed not a single hiccup. Itโs definitely worth a shot if you are in the market for a good mount that isnโt going to make you hate yourself for spending that much on a foldy mount thing. I will be using this mount a lot and will see how good it is and if there are any issues I will update this review, if there are no updates you can assume the mount is working as expected.

Cheap alternative
I recently purchased the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Night Vision Goggles Mount for my L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. This mount offers a reliable and secure attachment for my night vision goggles, enhancing my nighttime visibility during various activities. Firstly, the build quality of the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount is impressive. The CNC-machined metal construction provides a sturdy and durable design, ensuring that the mount can withstand rugged use and outdoor conditions. I appreciate the attention to detail and precision in its construction. The installation process was relatively straightforward. The mount securely attaches to my L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount, and the adjustment knobs allow for easy fine-tuning to achieve the desired position and angle for my night vision goggles. Once properly mounted, the goggles feel secure and stable, even during intense movements. One notable feature of this mount is its compatibility with both PVS15 and PVS18 night vision goggles. This versatility is a significant advantage, as it allows me to switch between different goggles without the need for separate mounts. The ability to accommodate multiple models is a valuable aspect of this product. While the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount performs well overall, I have encountered a minor issue. The adjustment knobs, although functional, could benefit from a more refined and smoother operation. At times, they feel slightly stiff, requiring a bit of extra effort to make adjustments. However, this does not significantly impact the overall usability or performance of the mount. In terms of comfort, the mount does a decent job of distributing the weight of the night vision goggles evenly across the helmet. This helps alleviate strain on the head and neck during extended use. The padding on the contact points adds a level of cushioning, ensuring a comfortable fit on the helmet. Overall, the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Night Vision Goggles Mount is a reliable and sturdy accessory for attaching night vision goggles to an L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount. It offers excellent compatibility with multiple goggle models and provides a secure and stable platform. While there is room for improvement in the adjustment knobs' smoothness, this does not significantly impact the mount's overall functionality. If you're in need of a dependable mount for your night vision goggles, the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount is definitely worth considering. It provides a solid attachment option and enhances your nighttime visibility during various activities. With a few refinements, this mount has the potential to become an outstanding choice for night vision enthusiasts.

Buy it! *EDITED AND UPDATED*
So this thing holds up like 95% as well as a real Wilcox G24. It just has the SLIGHTEST wobble when fully extended, but the helmet retention cords attached to a helmet take up any slack. In fact Iโve seen real Wilcox G24s with the same amount of wobble in the field. Also, for comparison to my Norotos Rhino mount for those sporting the old school PVS-14 setup, this clone has actually has less play than my real deal surplus setup. Save a few hundred bucks and buy this! Iโd trust $10k nods with this no problem (remember you should always tie down your nods no matter what mounting setup you have. Things fail in the real world despite being a Gucci brand or not) **UPDATE** Soo I still absolutely recommend this over a legit Wilcox to save yourself a bunch of money, but you will absolutely NEED to add thread-locker to every screw, including the indent screw that goes in the barrel to limit the distance of travel when you raise and lower the arm (I added JB weld putty to the exposed threads when you look into the barrel). This is definitely where a corner was cut in production, but it's an easy fix. Now this thing really is as rock solid as a legit G24.

Not $500
Yeah listen, I get buying American, I get brand name... BUT $500 for a MOUNT??? You're kidding me. I've seen enough reviews of the real thing to know that thing ain't worth the price, it wobbles, and is still loose, to the point where most people shim it and use bungie cords to secure their nods. For under $100, this is a super solid choice, granted I've only had it for a few days. It's very tight, rock solid, slides onto my RNVGs and clicks in. It is super solid and secure. I hate that it has a Wilcox logo though, super tacky and lame. Now I look like a poser with a clearly knock off Wilcox when I wasn't even trying to get it's name brand on it. It is what it is though. This is by far the best G24 mount, yes even better than the real thing just cause of the price. The only iffy unknown issue I have with this mount is I don't know if the break away function works or not at the same level as Wilcox. But that's about it.

Poor Dovetail Tolerances โ Not Compatible with RIX BM-01 Bridge
Purchased this as a budget G24-style mount for a helmet-mounted thermal setup. Initial impression was decent for the price, but tolerances appear inconsistent. The factory dovetail that came installed on my RIX ST6 Lite would lock into the mount, but had noticeable wobble/play. However, the RIX BM-01 Mount Stride Series bridge dovetail would not properly engage or lock at all and would fall out under its own weight. I verified this side-by-side on video and am including the video for demonstration/reference. The issue appears to be compatibility/tolerance related between this mount and certain dovetail interfaces. If you are planning to run a RIX BM-01 bridge setup, be aware this mount may not be compatible. For casual use it may work fine, but for helmet-mounted NV/thermal where lockup matters, I ended up upgrading to an Argus mount instead.
