APDTY 713229 Windshield Wiper Transmission Linkage Assembly Replaces 55077098AL, 55077098AD, 55077098AE, 55077098AF, 55077098AA, 55077098AB

Saw all the negative reviews and was baffled when I received my part. I assume most of the negative reviews did one of the 3 things wrong that could've gone wrong. First : Never check for part number and replacing part number. Second : installed the delivered part backwards and with the arm into the wrong direction (This assembly mounts in 3 ways. be careful how you install it) Third of all points : Didn't take their time to research their part number.I installed this to my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Kingcab 5.7 HEMI and let me tell ya. I first thought as well this would end up as a negative review. WRONG ! . I installed it the first time around backwards and the mounting notches face upwards making the windshield wipers stand up straight center. Then I realized my motor wasn't in park before uninstalling the old part and reset it. turned the part around and checked position of the wiper notches. They are suppose to face up 10 to 11 o clock'ish in order to mount the correct way. No bending. No cutting or any other adjustments required. Amazon delivered fast as always and this part actually is the exact same as the doorman version and about 40 bucks cheaper. Hope this helped . Have a great day yall

The drivers side wiper arm does not rest where the factory one did. It now is higher by about 2 inches and the passenger arm is about 1/2" lower at rest, which bangs on the plastic with each wipe. There are no adjustments to align the wiper arms as a key way (alignment groove) on the wiper arm shafts prevent any adjustment.Is it possible to bend something to make this fit correctly? Bottom line is that we who buy this as a factory replacement should not have to bend or tweak anything to make it fit as it should. Shame on the manufacturer for this blunder and Amazon for not protecting their customers by pulling this item from their site. -Returns are a pain.VERY disappointed with the purchase. Thought I could make the arms rest in the correct position but was wrong. I'll have to buy the factory replacement.2 stars because the replacement wiper transmission does fit and the wipers do work. It just looks too funky with one arm much higher than the other and the constant banging of the passenger wiper arm is just too much to have to endure.

Works like it should! A lot of people wrote negative reviews because they couldnt figure out how to get this on right. You should take a picture of the old one BEFORE you take it out to make sure the position it needs to be in. I unfortunately did not, so it took me about 30 minutes of taking it off and on and checking to see when it was in the correct position. Once I got it there though, totally worth it! Great product, just gotta know what you're doing lol.

Super easy to install took me 35 min . Just don’t put in upside down and you may have to turn wipers on to get it set in place before installing wipers because of the nut on motor . Dont buy Dorman linkage ! Garbage . This is perfect !

For being an oem replacement.. This did not fit at all. The angle of the pivot arm was not deep enough. So at each revolution it passed over the factory nut, it rubbed against the metal travel arm. ounce i rebent the arm so that it wouldnt rub.. The splines for the wiper arm did not work.It would not slide down over the shaft so that the lock arm would swing back to lock. I would never buy this product again or suggest it to anyone. I would rather buy a factory used one and take my chances at it lasting. worthless.

This is the right part, just that the alignment keys are not correct. No problem, take a pic of old one before you remove and align this one just like it and BAM! You just saved $100 on this part.

Poor quality construction. The timing of the wipers is off and can't be corrected. I took a chance after reading some reviews and ended up returning the product for the same issue (wiper timing) others warned about. I took a gamble but it didn't pan out. I will say the return went fine.

Had some problems getting the wiper arm on the shaft, other than that everything work good..
