Question 1

Anyone ever try putting a tea bag in a Keurig k-cup?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I bought the K cup that you can add your own coffee. I put the tea bag in the cup. I comes out fine . I use it to make iced tea, so I sometimes add 2 tea bags in it and brew 2 12oz cups from the same bags. Then chill the tea before drinking. I've been quite satisfied. I don't drink coffee, so my Keurig is just for tea. If you use it for coffee, you may have to run water thru before making your tea. I got the Keurig as a Mother's Day gift, because I wanted to cold brew tea. I like this method better than cold brewing.

Question 3

Is there Kosher certification on either the bag or on the individual packets of tea?

Accepted Answer

Dear Citizen,
Thank you for your question. Many of our teas are Kosher Certified by the Orthodox Union (OU), the world's largest and most widely recognized kosher certification society. We recommend visiting our website and browsing the certification area as the easiest way to find which teas are sold with this certification. We will also be happy to help by phone by calling (800) 298-4TEA (4832).

Question 4

Are any of these teas decaf?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a mixture of caffeinated and decaf teas. From memory…I’m going with, out of roughly 24 different teas, approximately 10 were herbal/decaf. They provided 2 bags of each type of tea.
