Digipower iEssentials Laptop Cooling Station IE-LCS1

I purchased this as a cheap cooling station for my laptop. It worked fine for the first week or so. The it developed a short or something in it and it would turn off and I would have to unplug it and bang it on my leg and plug it back in to get it started working again. Needless to say, it went into the garbage a few weeks after I received it. Buy a more expensive one and save yourself the frustration!

I purchased this and quickly discovered the fans were wired in the wrong direction so they were sucking air in, not blowing it out. It wasn't worth the hassle to repair or the cost to return it, so I tossed it.

this is ok to use, make sure you have a laptop that is NOT to large or heavy or it wont work right.But it work on the most part.

I really needed a cooling fan for my laptop. While I was shopping, I spotted this item on sale at a local store. When I got home and took the item out of the package, it felt really light when I held it--not really a good thing. The plastic felt really flimsy and poorly constructed. I thought despite that, I might as well test it out. I was hoping with the double fans, this item would have done a decent job keeping my laptop cool. Not even close! Yes, the blades spun as soon as I hooked it up, but hardly any air flow was coming out. I placed my hands over the fans and could barely feel anything. It didn't help in the least bit in keeping my laptop's temperature from getting too hot.I wish I could rate this fan 0 stars because I feel that's what it truly deserves. I did get what I paid for but thankfully, I still have my receipt so I can return this worthless item. People would wise to stay away from this and be better off investing a few extra dollars into buying a better quality fan.

I found this item on clearance at a discount retailer (should've been a sign) and decided to throw some money at it. I might as well have thrown my money into a fire.The fans are so ineffective that you can't even hear them. If you hold your hand over them, you can't even feel air movement. The blades spin, but they just don't do anything useful.Using free temp-tracking software SpeedFan, I tracked my laptop's core temperature with the station running and with it unplugged. It literally made no difference. It was 52C with it on, 52C with it off.This only gets two stars because it slightly elevates the laptop for slightly better air circulation and possible spill protection. Otherwise, a waste of space and plastic!

I wasn't sure about this cooling station since it was inexpensive, but it is adequate. In other words, it does cool my notebook computer. Most importantly, I have been using it for over a year now and it still works--which is more than I can say for some more expensive coolers. It's worth a try!

DO NOT PURCHASE!! IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT! I BOUGHT IT FOR 5 BUCKS AT A CLEARANCE STORE, OPENED IT AND THE CORD HAD A TEAR IN IT. THE AIR CIRCULATION SUCKS AND U HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING THE CORD IN FOR IT TO WORK. BUYERS BEWARE!!!
