It works as expected
Just unpackaged and tried it out it works as I expected except there's no o-ring on the back battery compartment so I would not think it should be used in the rain or wet conditions. The 11,000 lb unit came defaulting pounds and the display worked perfectly without setting anything up. It reads out in 5 lb increments as expected for a unit of this size. All four buttons are labeled so you don't have to remember what the symbols mean. I like that it is using three AA batteries so I never have to worry about charging. If you want to use rechargeable batteries just put your own rechargeable batteries in. It does not come with a swivel which is great because you don't have to worry about it turning the wrong direction on you.
