There's nothing like laying awake at night
Based upon others' reviews, we decided to invest in one of these. The following is a very unscientific review:Due to deck roof shift, an opening, large enough for squirrels and roof rats that would require expensive professional work when we already plan to have complete construction replacement this summer, was enticing critters into our attic. There's nothing like laying awake at night, listening to gnawing and to argumentative squirrels and wondering what damage is being caused. We don't use poisons for many reasons, including knowing the poisoned rodents will get back outside before they die a horrible death and then be eaten by the next animal that will then be poisoned; but our old standby of new hardware store rodent beepers weren't doing squat and we were desperate enough to spend the money to try this one not knowing if it would work. Our attic has a partial wall that separates it into 1/3 and 2/3 areas, and the human entry is on the 1/3 side with the wall extending in front of it for several yards; thus, we weren't certain this would be effective for the other side of the attic. I strung a grounded extension cord up into the attic crawl space and aimed the beeper at a diagonal, then lowered the cover and Gorilla-taped the cord plus "seams" in case a rodent was to get clever with it all.It seemed to take two days for the activity to completely subside. Once an evening now, we hear a sudden kerfuffle that sounds like something the Thing that was gnawing before is "attacking" close to the beeper - and then nothing! On the 2/3 side, we occasionally hear a squirrel enter and then leave just as fast.We have bought another beeper since to ward off rodents in our garage. Our dog does not seem to be bothered by them, and birds have been coming onto our deck and hanging out, but it may be they are not within range of the annoyance.Hope you have similar results!

Works perfectly so far
Jul 10th: I found a large cockroach with such long antennae and legs around my bed. I bought this product last december to repel centipedes at home, but never used this product because I was worried about "possibly increased activities of bugs right after using this". I cannot kill one tiny insect even ants and was horrified by cockroaches, and so plugged this repeller into one of outlets near my bed. Then I left my home for 3 weeks.Aug 2nd: After I got back from the long journey, I found a dead cockroach in front of main door, a dead centipede in a living room and a dead spider in a bath room. Yeas they all were dead.Aug 16th: Since then I have not examined any bugs around my home. I will update this review if I find any later. It seems my house is bug free and I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase. (for now, but I hope this lasts forever!) Looking at my bad reviews, I think how well this repeller works depends on different conditions of house.

Amazing results in just a few hours.....
I know this is a little pre-mature for a review but I'm wowed already. My two electronic pest devices arrived in the mail today and I plugged them in and expected to see at least a little activity but none yet. However, I've noticed that my house is really very quiet. We live in the North Valley area of Los Angeles and we have a lot of noise from local birds, bugs, crickets (and I mean a lot of them) and squirrels. I've placed one on one side of the house in the kitchen and another on the opposite side in the bathroom.I'm shocked that all the birds are gone and I believe the squirrels. This truly seems to be working inside and outside. I've searched and searched over the years and I really wish i had this years ago when we had a rodent problem.I will add more as time goes by. However, just 4 hours and amazing results!July 30, 2016It has now been 2 months and I have units placed in every room. I found this worked best for my 50 y/old ranch house in the desert climate. On the first day all crickets and song birds disappeared from around the premises of the house and I believe about 10-15' radius. I noticed the quiet and it was strange but I love it now.I have found the need to also resort to normal pest control in the house and Raid has become my best buddy as the ants and roaches continue to plague from time to time. I did notice that we has black ants in every room in the house after about 1 month and they raid out in the strangest places. I believe the remaining ants and roaches in the house are now going crazy. My Dyson hand held has become my buddy in pest control. I do believe these last pests will be gone in a month or so. I battle on....I did notice outside the house less flies (I have a big dog and he has messes out there and the number of flies is so much less than ever before), no ants any longer, massive reduction in spiders but not so much on grasshoppers.Pests conquered so far: Song birds, and house finches, crickets, house spiders, squirrels (somewhat), flies, gnats, fruit flies, bees, wasps, and black widow spiders. Still working on the black ants and roaches but I have the upper hand with my bug spray. Will update later when final pests are gone. :-)

we plugged them in last Thursday and they seem to be working great. She had been hearing a mouse or something ...
I ordered the sonic pest fightersfor my daughter's house, we plugged them in last Thursday and they seem tobe working great. She had been hearing a mouse or something related in thewall of her bedroom and hasn't heard it since we installed the pestfighter. She hasn't noticed the increased bug activity yet, but I told herit may happen! I was worried about the sonic waves irritating her smalldog...when I first plugged it in she barked a few times and it hasn'tseemed to bother her since. I will be ordering a couple of the pestfighters for my home in the very near future, we get these beetles in thehouse at the end of summer and I'm hoping it will help with keep them outalong with the ants we see occasionally! I like the idea of not having tospray chemicals in the house to get rid of pests!! The co-founder Sarah checking in with me regarding my purchase to make sure I was happy with the product, it's nice to know they stand behind theirproduct and want to make sure it works correctly, that alone says alot!
