Although I didn't want or need as many spoon rests as there are included in this set, I really like this design and have discovered alternate uses for the extras. At first I was surprised by how wide it was, but I found that I can use it for far more kitchen tools because of its size. It fits two regular cooking / serving spoons, which is useful because I'm almost always cooking more than one item at a time - a protein and a side, or a pasta and a sauce. It was a pleasant surprise that one spoon rest would fit both cooking utensils. I was initially disappointed that I had to buy these in a set, but it does allow me to have one in the dishwasher and one on the counter at all times, with a couple of extras to spare. If you don't need the others, you could give them away as gifts or multipurpose them for other things in the house. I can see them being used to hold small items such as hairpins, paperclips, jewelry, coins, or keys, and they're big enough to act as coasters for most glassware and mugs, or even as a base for pillar candles. You could use them to serve a small amount of dry or wet food to a pet. Or try them out as appetizer or sauce / side / bread plates. They could be useful for crafting - sorting small items like beads, or maybe even as a small paint palette. The best part is that they go right into the dishwasher with no fuss! Although I didn't go looking for a set of these - I only really needed one - I'm happy with the versatility of the design.

es un buen producto y su tamaño es ideal: no es ni muy grande ni muy pequeño. Me gusta que son bonitas, y de hecho, las he encontrado tan atractivas que les he dado un segundo uso como recipientes para poner botanas en la mesa o bar. Sin duda, una compra práctica y estética.
