We bought two as a matching set of bedside table lamps. I love the pull-chain; it's so much easier to turn on/off while lying in bed. They were super easy to set up - everything is pretty much connected already, you just need to gently twist it together. The lamps and shades were packaged very well and arrived with no damage. The base is heavy enough so that the lamp is sturdy even when pulling on the chain. The wood is lovely and matches our decor perfectly. We have them sitting directly on our wood nightstands and have had no issues with scratching or anything.

I had this style lamp in mind when I started the process of purchasing a lamp that would have the right look and feel for my mid-century modern living room redo. Using Amazon’s feature to view this item in my living room allow me to see the lamp from every angel virtually. After that, i searched for the best value for the money I had budgeted. I read reviews, researched the brand’s reputation and made my purchase. Size was perfect, easy to assemble, the lamp shade was the best. It really pulled the room together after i adding in the new furniture.

I've been looking for quite some time for a just-right lamp and this did the trick. It's nice and tall without being too large for my end table and the style has just a touch of mid-century modern but could work with almost any decor. Looks more expensive than it is. One star off because the shade just rests on a 'ledge' under the lightbulb and doesn't fully secure so it can feel wobbly. Not a big deal though as you don't often fiddle with it. Love the chain pull on-off!

This is a beautiful and stylish lamp. The shade comes fully assembled unlike some others sold here. FYI: If the shade is higher on one side, place a small, thin piece of cardboard under the black screw-down ring directly adjacent to the higher side to level it out. I have it connected to a smart plug, so I don't need to pull the chain constantly. It will add class to any room in your home. I'm really happy with it.

We bought two of these lamps for either side of a new sofa. They look great. Base is sturdy, nice pull to turn on/off. Pretty easy to put together. Only small complaint - you had to peel the felt base off to be able to pull the cord taut and then put it back. That worked fine and still looks good but I don't think you should have to do that.

Lamp looks nice but is poor quality. Returned the lamp first time I ordered it as wood shaft was chipped. Received replacement lamp and then the chain used to turn the lamp on and off broke after two months of use. I found out it is a frequently returned item. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Some indicated problems with the light shorting out, but I have found none. The only complaint would be pulling the cord through the base was a bit tiresome and I could see if you were too rough you could cause some issues there. Otherwise it was well packaged and looks fantastic with my mid century modern look as a table lamp for far less the similar ones on other websites. It is sturdy enough to not tip over if the cat walks by. The base is a brushed dull gold and I love the pull chain even if it's silver (and not gold) been using for a few weeks now and very happy I made this purchase.

I have 2 of the floor lamps ordered from Home Depot. I love them. They are stylish but not too modern that they don’t fit with the decor of my home. Ordered the table Lamp from Amazon ( cheaper than Home Depot) and I love the table lamp as much as the floor lamps however, the lampshade was broken when it arrived. Adesso sent me a new one free and it is not broken but it has a big noticeable stain on it. We can put it in the back but the seam of the lampshade is now showing. It’s not worth the hastle of getting a new one but I’m disappointed that out of two times, it’s still not right.
