Great tire for tough to mount rims.
These tires last a few months typically as i ride about 100 miles per week. They are easiest mount than any other tire i have tried (conti and bontrager) on my rolf carbons. Also, after a few weeks can mount without any tools as they stretch. I typically replace them 8 months or so when i start getting many pinholes wear marks. Also when the tire squares off from wear. Usually do not experience flats. Great tire!

Great for carbon wheels where wheel mounting is tricky.
For context, I rode Conti 4000 GPS and 5,000 GPS for many years. However on my carbon wheels those could be nightmarish to mount, especially if you got a flat on a cold day on the side of the road. Based on reviews I saw somewhere at one point I bought some Pirelli tires and I've been using them ever since because that problem simply does not exist with any Pirelli tire. This particular version is relatively new and you need to know that Pirelli makes a Road version and a Race version. The Road version is designed to be more of a training tire, it's a little bit more durable and thus slightly heavier, and has a slightly greater rolling resistance. When I'm riding them I don't really notice the difference between the two except that there's simply no doubt that the Road version is much more resistant to punctures. With respect to the riding properties these tires are frankly not that different from the Contis that I mentioned above, in other words, a very good road bike tire. Some people have complained that the Pirellis don't have a lot of grip if it gets wet outside. I've never actually noticed that myself, and while I tend to avoid riding in the rain, I live in the Gulf coast. That means even though I try to avoid it, from time to time I will get caught in the rain. But it also means I'm rarely going to be riding down the side of a mountain or even a steep hill. So I may not be the best judge of how grippy these tires are in wet conditions, but they're certainly more than good enough for me. The bottom line is these are a fantastic tire for daily use and they are great value for your money.

Easier to mount on Reynolds carbon wheels
Tried this tire to see if it was easier to install on carbon wheels and it was. Previously I had used Continental GP5000 and they were nearly impossible to mount.

Great tire; runs small
I've been riding the PZero Velo tires and really like them. Those are discontinued and these seem to be the comparable replacement. I haven't ridden them yet, but assume they'll be as good as the older model. However, after mounting them today I wanted to note that they run pretty small. On rims with a 13mm internal width, the 25mm PZero Velo tires had an actual width of 25mm. On the same rims, the 26mm PZero Road tires have an actual width of only 23mm. If I had known that, I would have ordered the 28mm size.

They are well worth the cost, ($95) mostly! Great feel!
Easier to put on than most, great grip, they roll faster than most,( with latex tubes) make the road very comfortable, I would add a second rim tape!! recommend you not forget the direction markers!

Great tire, good grip on wet roads with soft ride feel. It lasts for about 5000 km for me at the rear. The front one lasts much longer. Highly recommended.
