12" Outdoor Thermometer Large Numbers - Decorative Outdoor Thermometers for Patio, Wall Thermometer Hygrometer with Stainless Steel Enclosure, Battery Free Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Hanging

We needed to easily monitor the temperature at a remote location without having to purchase an expensive (WiFi capable) sensor. The building is already monitored by security cameras so instead of a sensor, we purchased this good looking 12” thermometer by “Chivenido” online store, sold through AMAZON. For us - this was the perfect solution and is working perfectly. The security camera is able to read the large dial easily. Initially it was a few degrees off but after a simple calibration - it now reads very accurately and follows the thermostat to a tee.

I was pouring an epoxy tabletop for some workbenches and the room had to stay above 75 degrees for 72 hours. I bought this and another thermometer to verify the temperature in my garage for the duration. It took a little while for it to calibrate itself but once it did it was fine. This one seemed off by only 2 degrees and remained consistent with the other thermometer the entire time.

Doesn’t keep accurate temperature! I do like that it is large and easy to read.

Numbers very visible.

Made of lon-lasting stainless steel, this Outdoor Thermometer was accurate right out-of-the-box ; no adjustment required. Face is covered with a glass lens rather than clear plastic that would tend to yellow with age. Numerals are clear and bold - visible from greater than 20 feet. Installed on 10ft pole with screw at top and bound at bottom with zip-tie threaded through rear spring, to prevent movement caused by wind. Unfortunately, bright sun tends to distort readings. Since I don't wish to relocate the guage, I asked seller about any specific area that s/b insulated to counter heat from sun. Awaiting seller advice, as of this writing. 5-Stars. Follow up next day: relocated to shady area at outside rear window, Issue resolved. i

Nice looking unit and it does what it is suppose to

Make sure and get the 12” model or you’ll be unhappy. Plastic face becomes rather hard to see through after some years. Probably Yv damage. I’m on my second one.

I've had problems with thermometers lasting. This one looks like it will do the job. Paid more than the last but it's Worth it. It was a gift and well received. It's big face makes it easy to read. No batteries is awesome. A friend was here when it was opened and she loved it. Guess I know what to get her for her bday! It's hard to find gifts when that person buys whatever they need themselves.. This is something they do not think about.
