It's a nice set of strip LED lights, with both a socket and a pair of bare wire power connectors; you do have to buy a separate power source.Probably because of the UV, the LEDs do not seem as bright as some other LED light strips I've used in the past, but it is a good product, and we're happy with it.Also note that if you keep the lights tight together (e.g, on the spool) they can get noticeably warm to the touch.{Edit - changed review from 3 to 5 stars and updated text after trying product a second time on additional art pieces.)

Works reasonably well for Form 1 resin curing. Wrapped the entire length around the inside of a cardboard box and stick the prints in it and close the lid after cleaning. Takes about 1.5-2 hours to work. Would be faster if the wavelength was a little close to 405, but hey, can't go wrong for $15. No more tacky prints even after sitting in the sun all afternoon.

Very excited to use these. I LOVE black lights! They are very bright considering size - hoping they will be enough to show off some very cool posters I also found at Amazon. However, the description for the power adapters needed was not very clear. You DO need to buy a separate power adapter (s/b included), but I got the impression that the roll of lights did NOT have a plug-in connector, so I bought an adapter that had the two wire connector. Turns out I didn't need that and the lights have a plug in connector. Still very happy with purchase though.

The 3m sticky tape does not stick. The lights keep falling down.

I saw that someone else had left a review saying that these are true UVA so I lined a grocery bag with these LED light strips to create a UV resin curing chamber for small DIY projects.The adhesion of the strips isn't so great, but it binds well to masking tape so I placed that down first.

This is a very bright and glowing black light. It works well for glow posters and cotton shirts etc. What it doesn't do is stay put. The adhesive doesn't stick as well as hoped. I put it up in the travel trailer but a couple weeks later it was part way down. I cleaned the surface with alcohol as directed but it pealed off anyway. Now the sticky surface doesn't adhere to anything. I'm forced to take it all down. If you get a set I'd highly recommend adhering it with something different than the stickers on the back. I'd also recommend connecting a dimmer switch if possible as well. Might be too bright at times.

works great kinda weird since it doesnt come with the power supply so you have to buy that separately. But after setting everything up it works and looks great.

I got a roll of lighting to use for some 3D printed designs. This was my first experience cutting up strip lighting. I'm a hobbyist. I connected a small piece to a dc voltage regulator and was able to produce light anywhere from 9-12.5 volts (dim to bright). I'm giving this 4 stars because the electrical connections on the cut pieces don't seem to have a solid connection.
