Excellent product. I thought of buying a more expensive camera from TAPO but so glad I didn't as this camera is well worth the money. The picture quality, both in the day and the night is exceptional. The camera connects really well to my mobile phone via the TAPO app. On occasions, the voice quality is reduced however, I still give this camera 5 stars for its quality, durability and its motion detection.

Very easy to connect / start up Brilliant clear footage and sound on phone. You get movement notifications you can talk though it from your phone when your not home. really pleased with this camera though it does State on main description that there’s No Monthly Fee but not entirely true as in order to store videos to playback you have to subscribe to Tapo care at 29.00 per year for iCloud storage. But then only 2.99 per month as I opted for . But there no charge if you don’t want to have video history play back . highly recommended to keep an eye on pets when your out .

Really good camera if you want to keep an eye on your pets, we brought this for our guinea pig for when we are out and we can keep an eye on him as his partner died recently. It picks up his every move and sends notifications to our mobile. The picture is clear and you can talk through the phone too. Its easy to set up . Also ideal to keep an eye on your home when out. Its not bulky and no noise when it moving and picking up my piggy. You can place in any room as it needs to be plugged in when in use and have a good WiFi signal.

I quite like Tapo gear and have used their power plugs (P100 & PP110) extensively as well as the C100 cameras which are small and neat. I mainly use the C100 cameras for pet detection in my home and needed a replacement with a bit more resolution, detail, night time quality and tracking (so I thought-see later!) to monitor my landing area. So, I noticed the C220 at a seemingly good price so bought 2 of them and I must say they seem to work exceptionally well and are a huge improvement over the C100, which has been out a few years, technology marches on etc. There is enough detail in the images that I have been able to place this C220 in a different location so it now covers half of the stairs, all of the landing and 3 of 4 bedroom doors etc. I initially set the camera for pet detection only with tracking which works exceptionally well BUT if the camera tracks a cat along the landing and into a bedroom and this cat then curls up, out of view, and stays there for 2 hours or more (not unusual) then the camera stays in that extreme left or right position, where it last tracked the animal, which could be 80° or 90° from its "home" position thereby totally missing any other activity on the main landing! I have had to turn tracking off of course. What the software needs is another variable something along the lines of "After X minutes of inactivity return to home position" which would need an ON/OFF setting plus a minutes input if turned ON! To be fair, if you installed one of these in the corner of a reasonably sized room then the tracking would probably cover most eventualities but in my case, a narrow-ish elongated rectangular area with several exits then it won't perform. So, good quality and value but does not quite fit my requirements so loses a star!

Really good and clear, it’s comforting to be able to see my guinea pigs wherever I am and interesting to see what they get up to while I’m away, which is mostly eating. Easy to set up and sound quality is good. Night view is great if you have animals that are active at night like I do.

Great camera in fact they that good I got another 3 around the house . Cheap value for money and they work just fine . Easy to use and install and you don't need subscription if you don't want it but I do as it's only buttons per month compared to others

So I have previously had an internal camera for spying on my dog when I’m at work. It was ok. This is far superior. The view is, in my opinion, excellent. You have the ability to zoom on live images as well as those on playback. The 360 tilt allows me to reposition the camera remotely, and due to the design means I don’t need to worry about the camera falling from its position when using this function. If I’m being picky here then there is sometimes a lag when tilting the camera between me pressing the button and the camera actually moving. It can also change the motion detection and person detection zones if you have these set up, meaning that if you don’t get the camera back to the previous view you will need to amend your zones to match the new view. But that’s being very picky. The ability to speak through the camera and have a ‘call’ is also very useful, and sound quality from recordings is again excellent. In terms of set up it was very simple and straight forward. I had previously purchased TAPO lightbulbs so I was able to add this device to the app already installed on my phone. The camera is discreet enough that it doesn’t bother my dogs if I move the view, and guests have not noticed it when visiting. Perhaps the best feature of all, there is no requirement to sign up to the cloud. Whilst they give you a free try out period you can quite easily fit a memory card to the camera. Again this was simple and easy to do with onscreen prompts through the app in order to get it to work correctly. So yeah overall a great little camera, records in high quality images and sound. If we are being picky there is sometimes a bit of lag on sound and movement when monitoring remotely. But these are niggles and easily overcome. Great value for money in my opinion. Off to look if there’s an external version available!

I bought the Tapo camera so I could watch my puppy when I was out, and it has been brilliant. The picture quality is clear and it’s really easy to use. The best part is being able to speak to him when he’s up to no good, which actually helps calm him down and stop the mischief! It gives me real peace of mind knowing I can check in on him anytime. Great product — I’d definitely recommend it.

Die TP-Link Tapo C210 hat meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Die Einrichtung über die Tapo-App war in wenigen Minuten erledigt und die Kamera ließ sich sofort mit meinem WLAN verbinden. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und alle wichtigen Funktionen sind übersichtlich erreichbar. Die 3-MP-Auflösung liefert ein scharfes und detailreiches Bild – sowohl tagsüber als auch bei Nacht. Besonders die Schwenk- und Neigefunktion ist sehr praktisch, da sich nahezu der gesamte Raum bequem über die App überwachen lässt. Die Nachtsicht funktioniert zuverlässig und liefert auch bei völliger Dunkelheit noch ein klares Bild. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Möglichkeit, Aufnahmen lokal auf einer microSD-Karte zu speichern. So ist kein Cloud-Abonnement notwendig, wenn man seine Aufnahmen lieber direkt auf der Kamera sichern möchte. Auch die Zwei-Wege-Audiofunktion funktioniert einwandfrei und eignet sich beispielsweise, um mit Personen im Raum zu sprechen oder Haustiere zu beruhigen. Ich nutze die Kamera zur Live-Überwachung und die Bildübertragung läuft stabil und flüssig. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Insgesamt bietet die Tapo C210 viele Funktionen, eine sehr gute Bildqualität und eine einfache Bedienung zu einem fairen Preis. Wer eine zuverlässige WLAN-Überwachungskamera sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

this one is teaming up with another tapo model and works good, again easy to set up wifi only but in return has more noise detection modes.

Ho acquistato questa video camera su consiglio diretto di un'amica che la aveva già a casa sua. La telecamera è di semplice utilizzo, va collegata alla rete elettrica e tramite app dedicata connessa al wifi. Dall'app si può verificare la connessione, si possono aggiungere altre telecamere (cosa che farò al più presto), si può zoommare e ruotare l'inquadratura. La telecamera può essere appoggiata ovunque e persino essere fissata al muro sia in posizione orizzontale che capovolta. Unico, unicissimo neo, arriva con la presa inglese (come mostro in foto) ma problema sormontabile con un semplice adattatore che costa non più di 1 euro.
