It has not overheated, the attachments work well and are easy to take off and on. There is no pedal (yea!) There is no control box (yea!) There is no video to explain how to use it. It's very simple (yea!) It comes with a zippered case and is small enough to put in a drawer. It seems to be a good quality device. The price is appropriate. If you check the reviews on all the other brands, each has a major flaw, in short, they are junky. These manicure devices are similar to weather radios. No one company is making any effort to upgrade the quality of either of these devices. There is at least 1 major flaw in all weather radios as well, except 1, from the C. Crane Co. This company makes other weather radios, but this is the best so far. C. Crane Co COBS CC Solar Observer Wind Up Radio with AM FM Weather and built in LED Flashlight and AC Adapter But back to the UTILYZE 10-in-1Elec Manicure. It was the last one I saw and was I relieved. It's very hard for me to cut my toenails and this device is perfect. Enjoy!

This product is small and easy to use. It is powerful enough to handle my tough hard large toe nails with ease. I am a musician and need to dress the finger nails of my right hand for finger picking. The Utilize 10-in-one works great and does a better job than doing it manually. I have also had back surgery years ago making it hard to reach my toe nails but the 10-in-one makes it easy to reach them and does a great job without injuring my toes as I have neuropathy and have injured my toes with clippers not being able to feel the pressure. I have been going to the foot Dr. to have my toe nails done but do as good or better job with the 10-in-one. I can trim my nails down more often as insurance only pays for the foot Dr. every nine weeks which is not often enough to keep my toe nails trimmed. This is a great product and works really well.

I purchased the Utilyze nail drill one month ago after reading every review for every electric manicure system I could find. I'm not a nail tech and bought the system specifically for my personal use. What sold me were the number of positive reviews, its portability and affordability. It works as expected, just takes time to learn to use it as a novice. I very much appreciate that it is gentle on my skin, even when filing my cuticles. Love the variable speed -- but the controls need to be relocated higher up on the device as it's very common to unintentionally touch them while working on your nails. As a result, the speed changes or the direction reverses, which is annoying. MANUFACTURER - please provide a video link or detailed instructions to help beginners learn how to use the device. Even though I've had my nails done professionally for years, the technique does not easily transfer when you do your own nails. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the tool and attachments.

The Utilyze Professional Manicure & Pedicure Set is quite powerful. It is much more so than the battery operated set I have used at home previously. It does take a little practice to get the hang of using it properly in re: to one's hand position or holding the wand. I am learning how to handle the wand w/o accidently turning off the power when in use. A little pressure is all it takes to file nails & sand calluses. It works especially well on my callused feet. I soak my feet & use my rasp 1st to remove excess dead skin. I use the Sapphire Callus Sander &/or Sander Cone after I towel dry my feet & they have have dried down for a few minutes so the skin is a bit more tacky. Great for filing down thickened nail bed & for shaping. My feet are smooth & pretty after use. Works great during manicure as well. Fingernails are easy to shape, file down length, & remove excess cuticle or thicken nail bed + it helps remove stubborn remaining nail (gel) polish w/o damaging one's nail bed. This is a time saver. I don't have to make appointments or wait on walk in service at the salon. It is also economical. I can now have beautiful salon quality manicures & pedicures at home while saving thousand of dollars collectively over the years by DIY.

With the nail salons closed due to COVID-19, and sensitive toes due to diabetes, and knees that will not allow access to toes due to arthritis, I hoped this tool would allow me to trim my toenails before I started climbing trees. The results are as follows: 1) The device is powerful (ac plug in) and whizzed through my tough and thick toenails. About 20 minutes to do 'em all. 2) Has several heads of which I found numbers 1, 5 and 6 useful. The others are a mystery. 3) The little LED light was useful. 4) The plastic shield provided no real benefit in catching the grinding dust. 5) KEY NOTE: Seems to grind hard surfaces (nails and calluses) and does not seem to damage soft skin. Big Plus. 6) KEY CONCERN: As a geezer, I can not bend in enough places to actually see the ends of my toes. Further, as a diabetic with sensory loss, damaging my skin would be a significant negative. So, that said, my wife found this device easy to use and effective in trimming my toenails. (The woman's a saint.) I can't yet comment on how well the device will hold up over time, but the first adventure was a success.

I've only used the nail drill set once. I'm not a professional but got tired of paying exorbitant prices to have gel names done. The last few times I had my nails done professionally I asked many questions and then began doing my own nails. I've had numerous people comment on how nice my nails look and asked my manicurist's name. "ME!" But I'm not interested in doing other people's nails. I use the soak off gel polish but don't like soaking my nails and skin every 2 weeks in acetone. I used emery boards to file the polish off (only the top 1-2 coats) like my previous nail lady did using an electric manicure set. I finally decided to try using one and I'm pleased so far. But I've only used it once! I am right handed but fairly good with my left hand so I didn't have too much trouble working on my right hand nails. But I need to practice! The one thing I like the best is the drill bit that I can use under my nail to smooth and trim rough pieces. I can't do that with an emery board. And the one thing I have to be careful with is using the bit near my cuticles. I got a little too close a couple times and it's an OUCH! I can't write to the length of time it works but, hopefully, I won't have to update with a bad future report.

I've used the set on the nails both on my hands and toes. I like to keep my nails short and the attachments made filing the nails down a quick process. The different speeds helped; I could start out fast and slow it up as the nails came closer to the desired length. The light was very helpful, particularly when manicuring my toenails. It lit up what would have been shaded areas when I just used the bathroom light. And the chord was long enough that i could sit a distance from the outlet and not have to pull on it. Most important, the attachments are a good mix of styles. I was able to easily file the nails down then the corners using different ones. My one complaint is the case could be a little bigger. It's soft so everything fits in, but not neatly. I didn't think that was important enough to change the rating.

I purchased this nail drill to try to do my own nails during COVID-19 so I am not an experienced nail person. That said, I found the drill very easy to use except that the speed controls and reverse direction buttons are on the top of the drill and easily get pressed while holding. I think a different design would be helpful. The drill seemed to shorten and drill my nails (with acrylic on from salon) relatively well without cutting me which was great. It has a little light to help you see better which was also appreciated. I liked that there were different speeds and I increased as I felt more comfortable (although I kept pressing them even when I didn't mean to). I think there also could be a more gritty nail bit to do some of the heavy lifting on getting product off nails but ...for the price and being inexperienced I was somewhat pleased with results. I do wonder if it will work for more than a few months with the same outcome or if the bit would wear out? Time will tell.
