Premium Chaga Mushroom Powder - 8 oz of Authentic 100% Wild Harvested Canadian Chaga Tea

I like that this is pure chaga. The way I prepare it is to boil it for an hour with some ginger root, turmeric root, and black pepper. Then I let it sit for a while, before putting it in the refrigerator. Then the next day I strain out the solids and put the liquid in an ice tea pitcher in the fridge. I love the taste As to the purported medicinal qualities of chaga, I feel that I don't have enough information to comment, tho I do feel that my brew makes me feel more alert.

I have been using chaga mushroom since last year when my chinese medicine doctor told me it was one of the strongest medicines against my excess of yin energy (too much water/humidity inside the body), even stronger than pu'er tea. So I started to take it immediately after finding out. This chaga mushroom is the first one I got from Canada, and I find that it is as potent as the one I used to get from Russia when I was in China (proximity makes things cheaper). I feel the same effect such as feeling more alert after taking it, having more energy, I feel a refreshing sensation in my essophagus and it wakes up my brain. I also can see that it takes the excess of water from my body. It is working. Overall, I would highly recommed this product, especially if you have too much yin in your body.

My veterinarian suggested I put chaga tea in the pet water bowl, and I figured the people should be taking it too. I worked out 1 tsp per 4 cups water is about right for us. There is grit, even with the nylon filter, but it’s not yucky or anything. Tastes close to black tea (not like Reishi which is a vile horror!). Animals all drink it without fuss (about 2 tbsp of tea per big bowl of water - just enough to change the color). Only effects I have to report is that I poop a lot. Yep, I said it. Like 4 times/day (where is it all coming from??). But I don’t expect to have significant health changes the next day - this is a long term end game thing. I don’t want cancer. This is not hard to incorporate into our lives. Packaging could be a little better - not resealable and about half full so you have to get your hand dirty getting it out and I don’t dare put it into a different container because it’ll be a crazy dust cloud. Looks like a coffee bag, but it is not. Oh well - life could be worse ;)

I like this! Use it (~1/4tsp) every day in my smoothies. I hope it is harvested respectfully!

I've been starting my mornings with a 50/50 blend of espresso and chaga mushroom tea—and it's a total game changer. Love the product. Been ordering it for sometime. But was disappointed that the package was open on delivery, but there is no way to return the product. A little frustrating….

This is my third time buying this and find it very helpful for my overall wellness (I had some some stomach issues that went away). Yes, as some have pointed it out it is gritty and not powdered - however, I do not mind. I simply pour a teaspoon in a cup with hot water and let it steep for a few minutes. Sometimes, I do add honey to it but it is palatable to drink plain. This is the only one I found on Amazon that is from Canada. Thanks for reading my review.

The “powder” is so fine it falls through any strainer , doesn’t dissolve so I’m unable to use as a drink.. it can be sprinkled on food but doesn’t taste great.

Having never used Chaga before I have no reference as to what it should be like. However with everything Ive read the colour mild taste and texture all was on the top of the what to look for charts. I use this in with my coffee and the taste is very good. After a few weeks of use I have noticed my blood sugars are levelling off better. I would like to try the chunks next time to see which I prefer. The only part of this product I don't like is that it doesn't resolve so the sediment is left in the bottom of the cup and you have to be careful not to stir it up while drinking it or its like getting a mouth full of coffee grounds. Over all though I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
